Shrimp Photos pregnant shrimp missing
its definitely been 3 weeks now since my pregnant gwendoline has been packed with eggs, last i saw her (about 2 days) she looked like she was about to burst
so im wondering if anyone who has gone through successful shrimp pregnancies knows if its normal for them to disappear for some time while they birth their babies because i looked really well and found everyone but she is missing

I'm new to owning shrimp but the one female I had that had eggs on her belly also seems to be hiding. I did see her but she seems to be more skiddish than the males I have .

classic shrimp hide-and-seek. they always pull this move right when you're about to get worried. she's probably tucked in some moss or behind the filter intake squeezing out those babies
the pic looks like she's already in a decent hiding spot with those rocks and plants, so she's got options. give it a couple days and you'll suddenly spot a dozen tiny specs darting around
