I almost put this in culture and heritage because they fucked the 2 min noodle cuclture up. Maggi never could keep up with Indomie but now this is food from the great depression. This shit is sour, the broth is weak as fuck and even the picture on the front looks worse. Terrible taste for the same price.
The corner cutting is so bad they should sell this shit in a circle packet. Did the machinery break down like with pronutro? What the hell is this? Please stop. Why ruin the best flavour? Covid didnt fuck our taste buds up badly enough for this shit to be considered edible. Please bring back the real chicken flavour.

I'm curious, did anybody go to school with someone now notorious? We had 3 of the Waterkloof 4, and a guy who now heads up what is considered a cult?

Itβs just insane when you realise that a lot of children were victims of extreme police brutality during apartheid. I mean taking the kids to Sun City? Yohπ

Well done to the young boys, a lot of experience will be gained in this SAFA Bundesliga Dream 2026 programme indeed. Keep an eye out on Schaper and Mosimane, those boys are KILLING it at youth level. Also best of luck to our u15 boys who will be going to the FIFA u15 World Cup in Azerbaijan in the next few daysπ₯π«΅πΎ

Yo guys, I'm 18, turning 19 soon, and I've been thinking a lot about what I want my life to look like over the next year or two.
I'm finishing matric right now, and honestly, my exams aren't going the way I hoped. But this isn't just about school or running away from a bad result. Even if everything had gone perfectly, I think I'd still want to do this.
I've been wanting to experience life outside the environment I've always known. I want to go somewhere where absolutely nobody knows me, meet new people, make friends, become more confident, explore, make my own decisions and learn how to live independently.
I've also been working on my own company and pursuing some business opportunities that could potentially put me in a decent financial position. So I'm not necessarily looking to take a year off and do nothing. I'm trying to figure out how to balance building my future with actually experiencing life while I'm young.
I've considered things like working on a cruise ship, getting a live-in job at a lodge or resort, Oil rigs, Or working at a random construction company, working somewhere far from home, or even exploring other industries. I'm open to leaving South Africa too, depending on what's realistic.
The thing is, I don't want to spend the next few years just sitting in the same environment, working towards some distant future and never actually living. I want to challenge myself, become more independent and find out who I am when I'm outside my comfort zone.
At the same time, I don't want to make an impulsive decision or waste good opportunities with my company just because I want a change.
Has anyone here deliberately moved somewhere new in their late teens or early twenties, where they knew nobody, just to experience life and grow as a person?
How did it change you? Was it worth it? Would you recommend working somewhere new, travelling, taking a gap year or doing something else entirely?
And for anyone who's been in a similar position, what would you do if you had a little financial breathing room and the opportunity to build something of your own, but still wanted to get out there and experience the world?
I'm interested in hearing your actual experiences and honest takes, especially from South Africans who've done something similar.

For those of you who work at companies that are closed on weekends, what do you do for a living?
Iβve worked in quite a few different industries, but Iβve never had a job where the company closes on weekends and everyone gets Saturdays and Sundays off.
Honestly, it pains me having to work weekends when the rest of my family is off. I miss out on spending time with them, and Iβd really love to find a job where I can enjoy my weekends with my family for a change.
For those of you who have these jobs, do you find it makes a big difference to your work-life balance?
