[ Rare ] Enough sear for you lot?;)
not happy with the bit of a grey band; but nonetheless a beautiful bite. stainless steel is the king of crusts!

Beautiful, but let those sides and fat cap get in on the action!

upon reflection, yes I can see that! I’ll be sure to give them some love in my next post…

I’ll keep it real people who get so pedantic about a grey band like that need to give their balls a tug.

Yep. Grey band ruined it. Send it to me so I can properly dispose of it. Will DM address.

Clean but you only got two of the sides! That temp is perfect for the though. How long on each side and how big a heat?

i know! need to give the others more love next time. pre heated pan until water only just beads (setting 6 on my siemens induction for ref) , i find people overheat the pan to find a water beading heat and then burn their food. about a minute or two on each side, but do it by feel and get to know your pans. then let it rest for about 5

Perfect your technique and get that sear on the grill and charcoal… much much better flavor.

Looks Burnt on outside and under cooked inside.
But hey, just my opinion, keep it civil 😕

a hater !!! jokes aside, outside crust is just the maillard reaction it’s great! inside is a bit rare for some tho and i can appreciate that😋

I refuse to even call that a grey band. Great work.
