What About Jerry Ford?

Perhaps because President Ford was never hit.

But he was a target on two separate occasions by two women in September 1975, in California. The first was a Manson cult member, the second an FBI informant turned left-wing activist.

Kirk got what he deserved and was smoked by a Groyper.

Oopsie poopsie.

12

u/Blastfemur_ 7h ago

A religious extremists killed a religious extremist. On anyone else's soil kirk would have said something extremely racists about it.

34

u/Real_Crystal_Hunter 8h ago

Kirk was a terrible person, and perpetuated bigotry that leads to violence. That being said, I don't believe that murder is ever good (self-defense is a different question, that can be justifiable in extreme cases). I didn't mourn the guy, but I still don't believe he deserved to die.

21

u/KendrickBlack502 8h ago

I think the idea that killing someone is wrong under every circumstance unless you’re personally in immediate danger falls apart pretty quickly if you think about it.

That said, I firmly believe the world is better off without Kirk in the picture but I don’t think his murder was justified.

13

u/slimstarman 8h ago

But also the world isn’t worse for him being gone.

12

u/WithoutAHat1 8h ago

He died for what he believed in. Guaranteed he was part of the Mar-A-Lago pedo crew at minimum. Long-Term solutions he would have faced anyway. His own party just sped up the prcoess.

0

u/Electronic_Quote399 7h ago

How can you guarantee that?

10

u/chrisp909 8h ago

Self defense by definition isn't murder.

2

u/Dependent_Basis_8092 6h ago

I honestly don’t know how I feel about murder anymore, a few years ago I’d have agreed with you, then Brian Thompson got Luigi’d and it changed my outlook a bit, when you have someone whose actions literally lead to the death/harm of many others, them being murdered kinda feels justified.

4

u/IMissCrustyBread 7h ago

Others should just keep dying because of his rhetoric. 🙄

-13

u/ThinkRise845 8h ago

"his bigotry leads to violence" while getting violently murdered to stop it?

As always, the party of hypocrisy and nothing else of any value.

3

u/Neat_Task_6664 7h ago

>"his bigotry leads to violence" while getting violently murdered to stop it?

Yes. I refuse to pretend it's not based.

-8

u/ThinkRise845 7h ago

So anyone that does violence towards me via their.. words, is down to be met with fatal force, yes? I'm liking the leftist ideology more and more it seems. Please, say some more shit I don't like.

2

u/Winter_Tone_4343 7h ago

Pro choice doesn’t mean abortions are mandatory.

This is a fun game.

1

u/evocativename 7h ago

Maybe when you make excuses that would defend exactly equally Nazis who were executed for crimes against humanity after WW2, you should stop and re-evaluate your life.

0

u/ThinkRise845 4h ago

The fuck are you on about? lmao

1

u/evocativename 4h ago

Julius Streicher was executed at Nuremberg for doing what Charlie Kirk did because, in the aftermath of WW2, everyone recognized how one can cause deaths without ever pulling the trigger personally.

2

u/rnotyalc 6h ago

I hated that dumbfuck dipshit with a passion but he didn't deserve to get killed for saying stupid shit. He deserved to get ridiculed and beaten with words because that was his arena. I don't mourn him but I can't condone his murder regardless of who shot him. Just my two cents.

2

u/RabidLobster42 6h ago

I respect your opinion.

2

u/Creative-Air-6463 3h ago

He truly walked into his karma though because he said the deaths of school and mass shootings were necessary sacrifices to uphold the 2nd amendment. And then he became one of those sacrifices he believed was necessary. He lived and died by his belief. People say he was a Christian martyr and that’s bullshit, he was 2nd amendment martyr.

4

u/GeorgeGiffIV 7h ago

Yep. He was a nasty little man who managed to get another nasty person to take him out. And honestly, it made him a damn martyr. I would haven't ever known he existed if he didn't catch a round.

2

u/VictoryBeardWrites 7h ago

Ikr. I saw posts about him, but always thought he was Kirk Cameron, since I couldn't be bothered enough to notice I was confusing the name.

-2

u/RedOneBaron 7h ago

I thought that for a while too, but I don't think he was a groyper. Even though they were way too happy about it.

-28

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 8h ago

Bigotry is stubborn, complete intolerance, prejudice, or discrimination against people who have different beliefs, identities, races, or ways of life.

People you don’t agree with don’t deserve to be shot.

23

u/RabidLobster42 8h ago

When those beliefs translate into "only straight white Christian land-owning males should be in this country and all others must be destroyed or reduced to slaves" it stops just being opinions.

-8

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 8h ago

Where does he say that? Link please

10

u/RabidLobster42 8h ago

Project 2025.

19

u/TheWizardOfDeez 8h ago

People you don’t agree with don’t deserve to be shot.

Charlie Kirk disagreed with this and when you apply the golden rule, I don't see an issue.

-15

u/THRlLL-HO 8h ago

Believing that clearly evidences that you only ever listened to others talk about Charlie and not actually listened to Charlie

-7

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 8h ago

Where did he say this, link please

12

u/Acrobatic_Ad1583 8h ago

Cool. But in this case he was shot by someone who agreed with him on everything but Israel?

-10

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 8h ago

People you don’t agree with don’t deserve to be shot. Celebrating it, making jokes about it, acting like they deserved it is all terrible. People are aloud to have different opinions.

10

u/Acrobatic_Ad1583 8h ago

Again, that's valid, but that isn't what happened here. This wasn't someone who was shot for having a different opinion. This was someone who poked and prodded a caged bear and taught it to dance for entertainment value and financial exploitation and then that bear lashed out at him in rage that was all supposed to part of the show, until it wasn't.

-1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 8h ago

Prodding a caged bear by…. Debating different opinions?

6

u/Acrobatic_Ad1583 7h ago

If you think that is debate, then its safe to assume you have never been inside a philosophy, debate, or political science class room in your entire life. Because that's not what he did. There's a reason his "debates" took place at a tent in a field instead of on a stage against a legit debate team with moderators. Going to assume that based on your lack of understanding that allowed and aloud are two different words with two very different meanings, that you aren't a huge reader of actual respected works of ethical philosophy?

4

u/Ecstatic-Nose-2541 7h ago

He shouldn't have been shot, violence is rarely the answer. I'm not celebrating anything, but it's hard not to appreciate the irony when the biggest pro-gun bigot gets shot it the neck.

"Stoning gay people is God's perfect law".

"Trans people are to blame for inflation"

"Trans people are a throbbing middle finger to God"

"Doctors threating trans patients need Nurenberg-style trials".

Yeah totally not a bigot.

3

u/Acrobatic_Ad1583 8h ago

Again, that's valid, but that isn't what happened here. This wasn't someone who was shot for having a different opinion. This was someone who poked and prodded a caged bear and taught it to dance for entertainment value and financial exploitation and then that bear lashed out at him in rage that was all supposed to part of the show, until it wasn't.

So, which point are you trying to make? The first 2 sentences or the last one?

Look,

I don't mind at all if you think I'm a terrible person. If you agree with the racist, sexist things he pushed, then I think you are a terrible person.

I don't think you deserve to be shot for that.

I don't think he deserved to be shot.

But...

I'm not sad.

The irony is so real.

He wasn't a random teenager in Math class.

He was a hate monger and if he had not been a hate monger then he would not have been killed by the guy who shot him.

He might have still been killed in a random shooting but the only reason he was targeted was the hate.

10

u/The-G-Code 8h ago

This is such an uneducated belief with Kirk. Saw this all over my Facebook feed with people who never knew who he was until after death.

I'm not even saying he deserves to be shot, but he wasn't shot over disagreements, he was shot for actively hurting society by someone who agreed more with him than any Democrat even would.

This take is only ever posted around by people who know very, very little about what Kirk had been doing for so long.

Again, didn't deserve to be shot, but it's insane to pretend it's just over some belief or disagreement. Extremely belittles the entire situation and makes it more offensive for his followers regardless, not to even mention the disrespect towards Kirk in death to make it out to be this miniscule of a reason.

Just because the death is ironic as fuck does not change that.

-5

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 8h ago

I’m not a follower. I watched clips because I wanted to see what he said that was so terrible. I couldn’t find anything worth getting shot over. Actively hurting society by debating with people? You really hate democracy. People are free to believe what they choose. I haven’t seen any evidence of hate or racism. Just beliefs

9

u/The-G-Code 8h ago

Yeah so you see how you just said you don't actually know anything about Kirk or the situation?

That should be a signal to shut the fuck up, lmao ("I haven't personally seen any racism or hate" bro shut the fuck up, lmaooo)

Maybe try to expand your understanding a bit beyond YouTube reel clips before speaking on someone's death, especially when everyone knows why the dude shot him at this point - fear of increasing Israel influence ruining the world

-2

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

Wow you sound really hateful.

6

u/The-G-Code 7h ago

Wow you sound like a redditor who doesn't know how to handle getting called out and proven wrong

1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

I wasent proven wrong? My argument is that nobody deserves to die and celebrating death is evil and wrong.

3

u/The-G-Code 7h ago

Every comment you've specified he was shot over a disagreement until now. You're agreeing with me all of a sudden but framing it like you're not. You're just repeating my initial comment now.

This is embarrassing, we can all see your comments in this chain.

1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

I’m pretty sure the education system has failed you. You don’t make very much sense

2

u/ICEonICECrime 7h ago

Point is not that he explicitly said something that was "worth getting shot over", but rather the movements he purposefully stirred by shaking their nests.

It was his entire ideology, approach, target audience, goal, and yes - choice of words - that made him such a dangerous person to society. Not "he specifically said x and y in this specific clip!".

He knew what he was doing, he wasn’t stupid.

4

u/evocativename 7h ago

You haven't watched what he said, then.

Or you are no more than one step to the left of people who literally wear swastikas and sieg heil each other.

0

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

I’ve been a Democrat for 40 plus years, and the party has turned into the same cultists extremist cult that maga has, just with different beliefs

3

u/evocativename 7h ago

Just stop .

Literally no one who is capable of reading is going to fall for such obviously stupid lies.

0

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

Nothing I said was a lie

2

u/evocativename 7h ago

Oh look, another lie from you.

2

u/Human_Artichoke8752 7h ago

Hey look, it's a pathological liar. How cute

1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

Case in point. Attacking people you don’t agree with

2

u/Human_Artichoke8752 7h ago

Nope. Just pointing out a liar.

1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

Because I think someone getting shot is terrible, I’m not a Democrat. Do you realize how silly that is?

→ More replies (0)

4

u/Combdepot 7h ago

“I haven’t seen any evidence of the thing that shitstain was known for”.

Lying isn’t compelling. Makes you look ridiculous.

0

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

Send a link then, of something he said that’s so terrible he deserved to be shot.

2

u/Combdepot 6h ago

Why would I waste my time sending a link to an intellectually dishonest fascist?

1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 6h ago

I’m a fascist because I don’t think someone that I don’t agree with should be shot? That totally makes sense

3

u/Necessary_Garlic6432 7h ago

So you watched a few heavily edited clips that made him look like the good guy, and now you’re in this thread with a hard dick for him. Got it

1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

No, I just don’t think people exercising free speech deserve to die. Just like I don’t think Stephen Colbert deserved to be fired.

1

u/BrineJones 7h ago

No one is buying your disingenuous horseshit.

1

u/jaboz_ 7h ago

It's not that hard to find Kirk saying hateful shit. He was inarguably a bigot, and used his influence to spread hatred and fear. If you weren't able to find anything to that effect, you weren't looking hard enough. It's not on other people to find that information for you, either. There's a reason that people hated him, they didn't just manufacture that hate out of nothing. Same as someone like Trump - people hate him because they've observed him for years, and inherently understand what a piece of shit he is.

All of that being said, I agree that he didn't deserve to be murdered like that. But I will also say that the world is objectively a better place with one less hate/fear monger poisoning young minds.

9

u/Aggressive_Diet_6115 8h ago

Charlie Kirk said that some gun deaths every year were worth it to have the 2nd amendment though 🤷

-7

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 8h ago

And if you disagree with that why would you celebrate it?

4

u/Aggressive_Diet_6115 8h ago

I don't celebrate it.

It was just one of the many horrible things that man said.

-2

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 8h ago

And the point of saying that with that emoji doesn’t imply that he deserved it?

3

u/Neat_Task_6664 7h ago

I'd would never imply he deserved it. I'm stating it. Which emoji would you like me to use for that? Perhaps 🧸 so you can hug out those all big feelings you've got from us reacting to the dead podcast bro you're in a loving parasocial relationship with getting caught lackin' the same way he responded to Pelosi's octogenarian husband nearly getting hammered to death by one of your fellow travelers?

0

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

So you think people you don’t like or agree with deserve to die?

2

u/Aggressive_Diet_6115 7h ago

It wasn't 😄 🤣 😂

My point was to show what a piece of garbage he was, he said that at a time when there had been several mass shootings around the country.

He thought it was worth it when it was high school kids or random people in far away places.

I can hold the opinion that he was a terrible person and still not celebrate his death.

I didn't have any reason to celebrate or to mourn his death.

Just more of well...that happened. 🤷‍♂️

4

u/Ecstatic-Nose-2541 7h ago

No one here's celebrating it. Don't blame us for just appreciating the irony of it.

1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

Plenty of people have and do.

7

u/Square-Platypus4571 8h ago

“I think it’s worth it. It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God given rights. That’s a prudent deal. It is rational"

  • Charlie kirk

-2

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 8h ago

And if you disagree with this it shouldn’t be conditional.

8

u/OrneryPerformance604 8h ago

When they want to abuse child rape victims by forcing them to give birth, yes they do deserve it.

-3

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 8h ago

Hating them has turned you into them

11

u/OrneryPerformance604 8h ago

Hating child abuse supporters has turned me into a child abuser?

That makes so much sense. We have a real genius over here.

-2

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 8h ago

No, because their hateful rhetoric has made you hateful

9

u/OrneryPerformance604 8h ago

Yes, of course I hate child abuse supporters.

-1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 8h ago

Where does he support child abuse, link please

4

u/OrneryPerformance604 7h ago

4

u/Necessary_Garlic6432 7h ago

Nothing will ever be enough for this troll. They’re being purposefully stupid

0

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

That’s not supporting the act of abuse. How did you gather that?

→ More replies (0)

3

u/wamyen1985 7h ago

Oh shut up. This attitude that the mere act of disliking a group of people, no matter how awful what they’ve done is, somehow magically makes you just as bad as them is a load of complete horse shit.

2

u/Combdepot 7h ago

This is a moronic sentiment.

2

u/Ecstatic-Nose-2541 7h ago

"Bigotry is stubborn, complete intolerance, prejudice, or discrimination against people who have different beliefs, identities, races, or ways of life".

Couldn't have come up with a better description of CK myself.

-1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

And the people celebrating his death.

Answering bigotry with more bigotry doesn’t make it not bigotry.

2

u/evocativename 7h ago

That isn't bigotry, you ass

1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

I posted the definition

1

u/evocativename 7h ago

Yes, you posted a definition that proved you are full of shit

1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

And proved the overwhelming amount of bigotry both sides commit

1

u/evocativename 7h ago

You proved only that you are 100% full of shit.

1

u/Human_Artichoke8752 7h ago

How are you this stupid

1

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 7h ago

I guess not being a bigot makes me stupid in 2026

1

u/LatterTarget7 7h ago

Dude was spreading hate for years and justifying gun violence

-41

u/SpaceMotor9555 8h ago

Classic libs. Always want violence

26

u/TravisMCatchem 8h ago

Trump literally calls for violence all the time lol

3

u/Late_Comedian_5269 7h ago

The common maga doesn't understand this at all. Remember when blue lives mattered so much, and then they went to the Capitol to beat the piss out of the blue lives that mattered? They don't know what they believe in, and if they do have an idea, they dont understand why they have those beliefs. They haven't thought for themselves in years, and "critical thinking" is considered a bad word for them now. They spent their whole lives distrusting the government for reasons they likely barely grasped, and now they are spending the rest of their lives putting blind faith in an establishment billionaire from New York (a thing they claim to hate) who they think give a singular fuck about them. They don't even know when they are being laughed at, literally by their idols and false gods, because they seriously don't understand anything.

19

u/RabidLobster42 8h ago

Against MAGAt traitors? Absolutely.

-4

u/Soundo0owave 8h ago

So, how do you classify a traitor? Cuz your classification is probably not what everybody else thinks.

8

u/RabidLobster42 8h ago

I mean, if you continue to vote for the party who attacked the Capitol when their pet fascist didn't win an election then I guess that answers it, huh?

-4

u/Soundo0owave 7h ago

And this is why we get labeled snowflakes. I'm an independent, thanks for assuming.

3

u/RabidLobster42 7h ago

I meant the generic "you" not you specifically.

5

u/ttw81 8h ago

Probably, for starters, attacking the US capital to stop the peaceful transfer of power & trying to lynch the vice president.

6

u/daesgatling 8h ago

If you continue to be a Trump dick sucker at this point, then yes, you’re a traitor

8

u/darkd360 8h ago

Yet it was someone right wing that shot him
