So a retiring relative of mine is using up all her sick leave, but both our GP's have insisted on writing certificates for only 1 week at a time. I'm really not bothered going in once every week to get a new one, is there a way we can get a Dr's cert that will last up to a month or longer?

That would depend completely on the medical condition involved, surely?
You're going to get different certificates for a cold and for a broken ankle.

Found out that despite getting an iron infusion in mid April, I am low again and it's only October!! I thought I was getting a bit better and things were heading the right way. Boo.

Stopping my periods really helped with my iron levels (well, not stopping all together, but they're basically non-existent now). Maybe have a chat with your Dr around what options you have.

I am staring out at the beautiful blue sky and the flowers on my porch, grateful that the antidepressants I took a 3 year break from are working, and that I can actually enjoy the view.
Not super thrilled my hair is once again falling out so fast my Dyson is about go on strike, and it's made my fibromyalgia go batshit. Unfortunately none of the others I tried worked, so here we are.
We're going to go take the dogs for a walk in this glorious weather and I'll count my blessings.

What's going on with the flag doing laps above the harbour under a helicopter?
