Hello, I ordered from the Honkai Star Rail Taobao store 3 figurines, although I didn’t know beforehand but they’re deposits.

I was wondering like how do they work? It says I’ll get a text message I think but will it work if I don’t have a Chinese phone number? And when the figurine is ready, am I supposed to pay on the HSR Taobao store or? Also, is it a physical letter or something? I’m just not quite sure as to how they work. I just want to figure out where/how/when to pay to make sure I get them.

Hello! I hope someone will help me out. I have several questions/concerns

1. Is Taobao better than Aliexpress in terms of quality? What I know is that shipping is cheaper on Aliexpress but I have a prejudice about Aliexpress being bad in quality. I am from Kazakhstan and actually in USA there is a different Aliexpress and app, but in Kazakhstan quality was really bad. I wonder if Taobao is the same or you have to search for good quality items

2. I recently started a new hobby - fuse beads. So there are lots of services where you can buy fuse beads in US, but they are very very pricey, I am a student and can’t afford that. I read on Rednote that it is better to buy fuse beads from China even if you are from US and they are a lot cheaper. If someone who reads this, has the same hobby, can you recommend me shops that have a good quality of fuse beads?

My biggest fear is the final quality of the fragance. It's fragance it's floral and woody.

So I already initiated a return and refund request on the tao bao app and they gave me some tracking code and time that the courier will come to the cainiao warehouse to pick it up in China. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do so I messaged cainiao customer service asking about it (it's linked to my tao bao account) and they just said, yeah your item is ready to be picked up by the courier.

So now I'm confused, do I need to pay for the return shipping to the seller even though they messed up and sent me the wrong item or does the seller pay for it? I also see an estimated time between 9-11am in the tao bao app when the courier is supposed to come to the cainiao warehouse to come pick it up but it's now a little past 11 yet I'm not seeing any status updates.

From what I'm seeing, I guess on the tao bao app it handles all the logistics of it including payments?

Is it all handled now or is there some steps that I still need to complete to return the item back to the seller?

Update: my original tracking code along with my scheduled pick up time just disappeared and there was a new time for the courier to come pick up the item and there's an orange button in the center of that screen (I'm using a translator to help translate the Chinese interface). I tried clicking on it and it gave me a new 4 digit tracking code along with a new pickup time in the afternoon. Weird. I have no idea what the hell is going on.

First and foremost in US, can’t download app. I’ve tried signing up but I’m running into a wall currently as it says that according to translate "Sorry, we are temporarily closed to the service in this area." is this cause I’m in the US, or is it temporary?
