Thanks to u/Ponjkl's website I decided the Kiddizoom Printcam was best option for our use.
I found a second hand one for a really good price and so this was my dad's birthday gift for my son who turned 3 yesterday.
I love the quality of the pictures! I wanted something kids proof, with a thermal printer and acceptable digital photos (since I want to make a photo album of the pictures he took later on).
There first 100 pictures are of himself and his little brother and sister 😂. Yesterday he kept making pictures of grandpa (my dad), the dog and anyone who came by for his birthday party. He printed the ones from my dad and was so proud when he handed them over to him.
A thing I also love is that it has the option to put a max on the amount of prints a day. With a toddler... That's needed. The games can be put off. He doesn't know how to get there, but sooner or later he'll figure it out, so I've locked them.
Only issue I'm facing is the time/date in the digital images. The time is set up correctly, but after copying them to my computer it shows no date or time. That's also the reason I made screenshots of my Amazon photos, since they are hard to find in my endless gallery this way.
