Second opinion wanted Need Advice
Hi everyone! ❤️
I’m 34 years old, turning 35 this November. I just completed my 3rd medicated IUI, and unfortunately, another negative. 💔
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost a year now, and I have a low AMH of 0.64. I’ve never had a positive pregnancy test, not even once.
My doctor is now recommending that we move on to IVF. According to my doctor, if IUI was going to work, it likely would have worked within the first three attempts, and trying a 4th IUI may not significantly increase my chances.
But honestly, I’m not mentally or emotionally ready to move on to IVF just yet. I feel like everything is happening so fast, and I’m terrified of what comes next.
Ever since my latest negative test, I haven't been able to stop crying. I feel completely heartbroken, overwhelmed, and scared. Every month I try to stay hopeful, only to end up disappointed again.
Has anyone been in a similar situation with low AMH and multiple failed IUIs? Did you try a 4th IUI, or did you move straight to IVF? Has anyone had success after 3 failed IUIs?
I know everyone's journey is different, but I could really use some hope, encouragement, and honest experiences right now.
I’m just not ready to give up on IUI yet or try naturally but I’m also scared of wasting precious time. 💔
Any advice or positive stories would mean so much to me. ❤️
