Focus getting buff first. Start eating two extra meals a day, on top of what you usually eat. Squat, deadlift, bench, row, pull up, shoulder presses. Some sort of posterior chain lift too, like rdl. Add in some accessory lunges and split squats at the end.

Agree with everything here. Plus 5g of creatine monohydrate daily; brand doesn’t matter it’s all the same. Prioritize sleep or you’ll never grow/recovery; 8 hours ideally. Drink a lot of water.

For a program I find it helpful to have something I can just walk into the gym and follow without thinking too hard. Chat GPT is honestly not bad for building a workout plan if you feed it your goals. Something like, “I am a _ years old college student that can dedicate _ hours in the gym _ days a week. My goal is to put on lean mass and I want to use a Push-Pull-Legs split based on my calculated 1 rep maximums. Format a workout plan on excel that allows me track my progress.”

I’ve never taken creatine before. Is it that necessary?

lol I never thought about asking ChatGPT to write my workout. But that is probably where we’re headed…

Creatine saturates your muscles and makes you look fuller and more toned, plus it gives you more power in the gym and is better for overall health. Improves brain function too. It increases the amount of water your muscles can hold so you need to hydrate hella to make it actually work.

you can’t out-train a dining hall diet, but start with a basic push/pull/legs routine and eat enough protein consistently, abs are mostly waiting for the fluff to leave the building
