I heard they did it for orientation, but I heard they're trying to do it again for the same students in the Spring?? Some classes are even hidden while this happens. How is this fair to juniors and sophomores that might also need those classes??

I heard this from an acquaintance who works with advisors

Plein air painting of “Reawaken USA burns down in front of CVAD lawn”

Inspired by “Chase Burning”, Alex Schaefer, 28x22 In, oil

Edit: Reawaken USA- (Equally as bad lmao)
Also I am not the artist! Just posting here for them :)

In front of curry hall rn, they're farming engagement off students it's not worth talking to them genuinely

I kept seeing this poster for a research study around campus. I don’t fit the criteria bc they are looking for black men but I thought I would post it here so y’all can get that money🙂‍↕️

Hi Reddit! I am going to be graduating in December and I was wondering if maybe y'all knew of a good rental place for the regalia.

I am not trying to buy, just rent.

Maybe you guys know of a friend that have the regalia that I can rent from.

The regalia I need is for Masters of Science in Engineering.

Please let me know!

Thanks

I want to start my own organization at UT Austin. It’s inspired by this company called Kranay Academy

Hello everyone I was wondering if I could get some answers with my problem, so the to do list on my application says everything was completed however, the status of my application still says its incomplete, should I have anything to worry about?

For my management majors, are any of yall able to see class options for this course in the portal? I’m thinking there are no classes yet for next semester. I hope that there will be a class options when we get closer to that time. It’s the only other class I need to graduate.

UNT’s website says free application week is 10/1-10/18 and that you can use Common App or Apply Texas. Can’t find how to select this on Common App. Only thing I see are the normal waivers I don’t qualify for. Does anyone know how you get the waiver for free application week for UNT on Common App? Thanks!

From Oct. 1 through Oct. 18, we're waiving the application fee for ALL undergraduatesapplying for Spring, Summer or Fall 2027. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 18 to receive the fee waiver.
Apply using Apply Texas or Common App.

Ngl ever since I’ve came here to UNT I’ve been looking forward the football games, but not gonna lie. My high school football team had more energy and more enthusiasm than our college game day I feel like we have a lot of potential to make the atmosphere fun and energetic, but we just lack of energy and also I feel like we don’t pack the stadium enough to get there ( I know this a liberal art school) but Dauym we can do better I hope our homecoming game is packed!! AND we’re not even a BAD team we’re undefeated at home and we have a good year ahead of us!!

Go mean green!!🦅

Hi there are they other classes I could be taking that are not on the info science degree requirements that could help strengthen my degree and skills?

Hi everyone! I'm a sophomore and I'm trying to register for two accounting classes (ACCT 3120 and ACCT 3405). The issue is there's only three class options for each of these classes, which seems so foreign to me because usually there's more class options to pick from. I'm not sure if classes will be added soon or not. I called the accounting department to see if we will get more class sections later but it seemed like the person over the phone couldn't understand me. I just want to know if we will get more classes because just three class sections for cost accounting is ridiculous.

im in a situation where im trying to transfer asap to a diffrent unit but im worried about the lack of info on the process.

I need a supporting course for my graduate semester (this spring) at UNT. I am an accounting major and I need something easy since I have an internship for the Spring. There are my options. Any insight would be helpful!

Supporting Field 1 course options: MGMT 4660, MKTG 4280, FINA 4500, BLAW 4480, BCIS 4730

Im a Freshmen coming into college with not a great amount of freetime, and Im looking into some side hustles that I could fit in.

Im a fluent Japanese speaker (learned from parent), can read and write and the whole shebang, would there be any demand for outside 1 on 1 tutoring, given there is a free option already?

It doesn’t seem like the department is hiring any tutors from what I can tell.

Hey everyone!
I'm currently a junior at UNT, and I'm planning my Spring 2027 classes. I really want to take CSCE 4350 (Fundamentals of Database Systems) online with Professor Ryan Garlick.

The problem is that the class is filling up really fast. There are only 5 seats left out of 50, and my registration doesn't open until October 19 because I'm a junior.
I'm honestly really worried that all the seats will be gone before I even get a chance to register. I really want to take this specific professor, and I haven't found another professor who seems like a good option for me.
I've already emailed my academic advisor and the professor, but I'm still waiting for their responses.

Has anyone at UNT been in a similar situation? Is there anything I can do to get into this class before my registration date, or am I just stuck waiting and hoping a seat is still available?

I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thanks!
