New Years Eve

What is LV like for New Year’s Eve? I have 4 nights completely comped at cosmo already. My wife and I are not big into the parties and clubs, but for NYE we could make an exception. We went in 23 for the Super Bowl weekend and it felt like a gigantic hustle, and I wasn’t a fan of how over crowded it was. Wondering what it’s like. Tickets to fly are over $700 each which is the most id ever pay to fly out.

If you already hated the Super Bowl crowds, NYE in Vegas probably wont be much better. With 4 free nights at Cosmo I’d just enjoy the hotel, get a nice dinner and watch the fireworks. Spending $1400 on flights just to deal with massive crowds sounds a bit crazy to me.

Agreed. Stay inside the hotel. It'll actually be nice since everyone else will be outside. Usually inside the casinos it's pretty quiet. 😂

It will be more packed for NYE than it is for Super Bowl.

New years in vegas is a whole different animal from super bowl weekend. The strip gets completely closed to cars and it turns into this massive street party, wall to wall people everywhere. If you felt super bowl was too crowded, nye is like that times ten easy

Cosmo is in the middle of everything so you will have great view of fireworks from the balcony if you get fountain view room. You dont even need to go down to the street, just watch from up there with your wife and some drinks

But 700 per ticket is steep, that money could get you a nice trip somewhere else less packed

We went a few years ago and were pretty underwhelmed with it. Was a little surprising considering it was Vegas. But sounds like that may be right in line with your plans anyway.

We went last year and saw Bruno Mars then stayed in the hotel to avoid the madness

One NYE in Vegas and never again. They close the strip so getting around was impossible. Tables with bottle service started at 50k. Never again

We get about 300,000 people in for that and the main road gets closed about 5pm and doesn't reopen until about 2AM. If you don't like crowds I would come here
