Image / Video Two minute apart from each other

Post image

This is just wild. PlayStation wanted to end their partnership with Hideo Kojima. So Xbox was like: "Your loss."

This year is really starting to feel like an inverse of 2014 when Xbox ruined their public image with some insane Always Online DRM requirements and PlayStation capitalized on that.

Oh good. One stumbling, blind giant dropped something and the second stumbling, blind giant picked it up.

It’s so interesting to me that people who haven’t seen a game and literally know nothing about it have already decided it’s a work of art masterpiece that Sony is stupid for ditching.

Now I’m decidedly a Kojima fanboy, his games were some of the first to show me what video games could be as a storytelling medium, MGS and Death Stranding are some of my favorite games ever. If KojiPro puts a game out, I’m getting it.

This means I’ll have to go over to PC to play Kojima’s next games, and combined with the rest of Sony’s fumbles it means I may stay there for good
