Would love for it to happen but it isnt going to happen. Theres simply too much tied up in the act of making these games. Not to mention how ironclad tight the legislation needs to be for publishers to not loophole it in combination with how heavy enforcement would have to be. Impact on indies and AA teams. Just not going to happen. Would be great.
Agree. Really want this. But no way corporate America would let this happen. Lawmakers know this, so presumably it’s just to generate votes for midterms.
