I just finished Devil Number 4, and I absolutely loved Hanna and Number 4 (Saho)’s dynamic. 🤗
Do you guys know any manhwas with a good plot that have a similar relationship dynamic, or an ML who’s like Number 4?
I’m looking for an ML that has any of this traits:
-Expressive
-Quick-tempered
-Childish/playful
-Cute
-Teasing
-Big Ego
-Mischievous
-Has great chemistry with the FL
Romance with a good plot (fantasy, supernatural, etc.)

+1 the ML is a huuuuuge yearner and golden retriever! Absolutely so so into the FL that he can’t take it sometimes! One of the MLs in The Fox Club is cuuuute too!

And I 10000% agree! He and the FL have one of the greatest chemistry/development. 🤗. One of the best enemies-to-lovers troupe. Though the story is starting to get foggy, I still remember the story of the FL’s twin. 😔

ACTUALLY, from the manhwas recommended to me on this thread, I’ve only started with the ones that contains fewer chapters before moving on to the manhwas that have 50+ chapters.
So far, ‘touch your body’ is one I can compare to it to the most, it currently has 25 chapters. Though I’m not sure if the main story/plot will be to your liking.
The ML is very angsty, quick-tempered, and cocky. His ego and delusions are hilariously shut down by the FL. I love the FL! She’s so so so so cute!! She’s very soft-mannered, and somewhat reminds me of Hwa-yeong.
With their main leads, I see similarities between The Crown Princess Scandal. Not so much with the story.
It’s sets in modern, and high school time. And still ongoing!
But ofc, Shin-yeong>>> 😖😖😖.
Please share some too if you ever find one similar to him hehe.
Uhh this doesn't fit completely but Yuyeon in romance 101? its been a while since i read it but they seem somewhat similar plus its an awesome romance story anyway

it is a happy ending!!!! all of lee hye's works have happy ends. it's very sweet and satisfying. see you in my 19th life and devil no 4 have same vibes and I always rec them for each other
Oh yes, the ending is satisfactory. The angst and the characters slowly heal and it is so beautiful aaah
Also if you are taking manga, colored romance recommendations.. then Ramparts of Ice. It reads like a webtoon, is colored, and the ml is a yearner, cheeky and is very very cute with how expressible and a nervous wreck he can be.
Also, the characters are pretty complex as well
The main male lead (Chirae) is such a dork for the female lead (Seon Kim). I don't want to spoil anything but the layers of yearning run DEEP. He is super silly and childish, but rightfully so since they are in high school.
I remember reading the early chapters of it a few years ago. I feel the same vibe between the two ML’s. I’d say for Devilish Romance, their chemistry is more energetic. Haha
Does it take a while for the main leads to develop romantic feelings for each other?
Greatest Estate Developer actually. The romance isn't the main focus but it's still really really well done and the MC is so funny and cute in the way you described.
Okay not a WEBTOON but I was also thinking Tamaki from Ouran Host Club has these vibes - the manga has a lot more fun stuff that the anime didn’t have, but both are great regardless

Oh man, both of them have some sort of love triangle going on, but It's Just Business already leads with it, pretty much.
Unfortunately I have paused my reading on it to let chapters pilenon and have forgotten to get back to it 😭😭 But I will read it right now and edit this later to let you know!
Love this! I was planning on adding it to my list solely because of this image (guilty 🧑⚖️). But went ahead and read it since it’s still in chapt 19.
His personality is just what I was looking for. I absolutely adore the comedy in this. The male lead’s expressions were so funny in the earlier chapters it had me hooked!
I also love the FL she’s so resilient.
Both are growing on me. But I feel like it’d be better to let it marinate first. Although I’m not sure if I can hold myself back hehe.
Taejun (ML) is hilarious. Starts off very cold but warms up a lot. Loves teasing his girl (FL) 💕 ETA: the overall plot is also phenomenal, albeit heartbreaking
“I Married Male Leads Dad” it’s a bit different from what’s described, but hes certainly silly. If you consider narcissism as silly.
“Turning the Mad Dog into a Genteel Lord” A different kind of silly as well.
“Mr Delivery Knight” Everyone is silly to be honest. The romance is a side plot.
“Let Me Kidnap the Male Lead!” Isn’t the male lead but the other love interest are pretty silly. One of them wanted to get kidnapped because he heard the kidnapper kidnapped attractive men.
Lastly
“The Prince Doesn’t Cry Over Onions” This ML is also a different kind of silly he’s an emotionally not there ( the story explains why ) but he can be pretty silly. Would I say to the extreme? No but it’s entertaining. The side characters add to the silliness.
AAA!! I love promise cinderella sm! Issei is one of my og’s. You have good taste 🤗 . As for lovely complex, I’ve been considering watching the anime. But have always procrastinated it 😭. Do you think it’d be better to read the manga instead?
Wanbyeokan Seonbae-ui Hide! / The Perfect Senior’s Secret. There is no official english translation yet though but the ML is expressive, eccentric and playful
The angst!! This was one of the first webtoons I read. I remember something about the ML and a pink haired girl hurting my feelings so I dropped it 😭. I was very new to webtoon so I couldn’t take it haha.
But I’ll actually try this time. Will add it to my list. Thank you for recommending this!!
