Still edith, the ending was so weird and it felt like a huge part of the story was missing. I also would have kinda loved it if she wouldn't have been in a new relationship but something like, she chose herself

65

u/Notlennybruce Aug 18 '26

I remember loving that one so much, but the ending was so underwhelming 🫤

16

u/strawberryselkie Aug 19 '26

Edith was one of my earliest reads, and the first that the ending just annoyed the crap out of me. The last arc just went in such a random direction for me.

My brain immediately went to here lol

I could tell from the beginning that Edith and ML weren’t gonna stay together- but the way it happened just felt really empty. It’s like we built up a realistic relationship only to end up with “oh and they broke up and she moved on.”

I saw some people mentioning how it is more realistic to not show because sometimes relationships are that way- but while I do agree, it’s not necessarily good story telling and the fact that people still think Edith had one of the worst endings says a lot.

SAME !!!! the whiplash was unreal 😭😭

16

u/Illkined Aug 19 '26

Starting the story by showing Edith romanticizing perfect relationships/ the parfect partner, only to give her that later peaved me (from what I remember it's been years) if she was gonna break it off with Phillip it would have been better to just have her be single

40

u/Reinadeloszorros Aug 18 '26

She and Philip were finally working things out and then the author did the weirdest cop out ever

6

u/chasinggdaze Aug 19 '26

Came here to say the same thing

7

u/DazedandFloating Aug 19 '26

She should’ve ended up with Jack or on her own imo.

Nice to Meet You...

I don't even understand why it happened.

59

u/nine04 Aug 18 '26

I'm still mad don't remind me

46

u/haiikarii Aug 18 '26

Bro i would change the whole entire second season 😭

18

u/Worried-Figure-8010 Aug 19 '26

I even payed for that crap, I was so appalled.

36

u/Intelligent_Slice111 Aug 18 '26

Same... Atleast they should have given a proper storyline for the second male with the FL to make it convincing ( I forgot their names , sorry)

Edit grammar

16

u/choco_iguana Aug 19 '26

literally the first webtoon i thought of

all the development with the first dude only for author to say screw you and went with the second dude

22

u/ShadowlightLady Aug 18 '26

I don’t understand why they chose this route it did not need to be over complicated yet still extremely underwhelming

8

u/BlueHydrangeaBlood Aug 18 '26

1000% I understand that it was supposed to be a fun twist but the author didn’t set it up at all, it made the ending so unsatisfying

5

u/Honyesane Aug 19 '26

I really loved Daze but we got nothing 😕

3

u/BeLifePhy Aug 18 '26

Yes 😂

3

u/_Kia_Wolfy Aug 19 '26

Honestly the whole 2nd season is an absolute abysmal

Lore Olympus. That was such a tepid-ass ending with Apollo 🙄

61

u/MyCatsDumberThanUrs Aug 18 '26

I'd rework a lot of that one lol Still can't get over everyone wanting to fuck Persephone all of a sudden

41

u/Typical_Community287 Aug 18 '26

Right?! It was so unnecessary! The only one I enjoyed up until the end was Artemis and she's living her power girl life by running with wolves 😤😤

14

u/Roraima20 Aug 19 '26

Ares should have been her annoying big brother figure/cousin helping Persephone to manage her wrath and I'm going to die in that hill.

The creepy simp in the comic did nothing for the plot except delivering the second creepiest line in the comic and imagine one of the best outfits for Persephone.

24

u/chasinggdaze Aug 19 '26

Highly recommend Lore: Rekindled which is an ongoing comic rework that’s currently better than the original in pretty much every conceivable way https://www.tumblr.com/genericpuff/706803706227834880/lore-rekindled-master-post-read-below

I genuinely felt so weird when it came to Apollo because I thought the author was doing a great job with Persephone’s SA experiences- up until she forgot all about it for a whole season and brought it up at the end to almost use as a plot device lol it was strange

→ More replies (1)

23

u/Roraima20 Aug 19 '26

I swear.

Alex the paparazzi got tortured and lost an eye for a photo.

Minthe was transformed into a plant for 3 years for snitching Persephone's crimes.

The receptionist at the hotel was transformed into a duck for being a total creep and stealing Persephone's luggage.

Apollo's crimes including, but not limited to, SA, two attempts of murder, false imprisonment, kidnapping, coup attempt, obstruction of justice, etc.... got community service and feel reeeeeeeaaaally bad about what he did to Persephone.

For webtoon that makes suck a big deal about trauma, power dynamics, patriarchy, it really hold to those concepts in the most antiwoke ways.

3

u/ChronicallyxCurious Aug 19 '26

Honestly sad that it reflects what happens irl. The wealthy and the powerful don't face commensurate consequences of their actions

6

u/Roraima20 Aug 19 '26

Ok, but if you are writing a power fantasy like LO, at least you would expect a fitting punishment for the rapist, but all we got was:

Being a ungrateful brad and a mean bitch to your strict mom (that was right about pretty much everything)

Flaunting your wealth (that your sugar daddy gave you) and harassing your working class ex classmate that didn't like you (for good reasons)

Destroying the apartment of the girl that flirted with your husband once and threatened to kill her (because you know how you got your man)

Everyone that went against Persephone snd Hades relationship, even if a little was was punished harshly, but the guy that actually harmed her got community service.

u/lovelycosmos Aug 18 '26

They should have made him actually suffer or at the very least have a legitimate redemption arc

7

u/strawberryselkie Aug 19 '26

Lore Olympus was my entry to web comics and I ended up dropping it pretty well before the end. A big part of the reason why was that honestly I felt like every single season and arc came to such underwhelming and/or random conclusions. There would always be this huge dramatic build up, and then the big reveal or climax was always like... oh. Okay. So that's it, then. And the few times there actually was a Big Deal conclusion or season finale, it would get backtracked almost immediately in the start of the next arc or season.

3

u/Quartzs_Quarry Aug 20 '26

I dropped it not long after the Apollo storyline started since it felt out of nowhere for me at the time, and didn't sit with me right at all. I'm glad I did since the writing really seemed to take a downturn after the official release of the comic (I remember more of the pilot stuff since I had read the comic before it was a Webtoon original)

3

u/AssociateNo1801 Aug 19 '26

Sooo your telling me I not only have to A) find a finished one But also READ IT ALL 😭😭😭

(While I’ve read a few finished ones honestly I always end up dropping them within the last 5 eps

Blood of Madame Giselle. The ending shanked all characters, was rushed, and was a brutal disappointment.

18

u/gupchupppp Aug 18 '26

Oh god i literally came too say this. I remember making a confused weirded out face cuz then ending was so crappy and the author could have done better.

12

u/idaydreaming Aug 18 '26

Omg that was such a crappy ending...

5

u/babewithabook Aug 19 '26

it was the ugliest ending. why even write the story if the ending undid the plot?

True beauty, I would give Seojun a proper happy ending. With or without the FL but at least he wouldn't be the sacrificial lamb he ended up being.

61

u/vveehearts Aug 18 '26

This! Really gets on my nerves. I don’t understand why she even chose Suho in the first place. Hes such a bore

56

u/Clear_Way_4002 Aug 18 '26

I was heartbroken for a long time, I just kept thinking about Seojun's sad fate. When he daydreamed about the life he wanted I cried. Have been avoiding love triangles ever since.

→ More replies (8)

12

u/midnightmaiden5 Aug 19 '26

His story definitely felt unfinished. But don’t get why people dislike suho? It’s been years since I’ve read it

10

u/Clear_Way_4002 Aug 19 '26

I think it's because of the long absence and ghosting of the FL then reappearing just out of nowhere. Also the author just made Seojun's story too heartbreaking imo

u/MinaWearsGold Aug 19 '26

Can someone spoil what happens to Seojun for me? I dropped the story because he was the only character with any growth or development and the other two bored me. He deserved a happy ending and it sucks hearing that he didn’t get it.

93

u/Keranane Aug 18 '26

Not the ending but already halfway through "I am the Queen in this Life". The story started quite promising and then it try to redeem the killer of the FL and even have more chemistry with her than the ML, disgusting

32

u/marlipaige Aug 18 '26

Yeah…I gave up on it a long time ago. I absolutely loved it, but it’s taken several weird turns. And I’m not sure the author even know where it’s going.

22

u/VintageDancer9 Aug 19 '26

Idk if it fixes anything for you, but Cesare does eventually reveal himself to be every bit as hateful as he was before she was reborn. This time she sees him as who he is and rejects him fully!

84

u/Left_Cod_7174 Aug 18 '26

What's that one where the girl gets two love matches from an agency but she can't choose a guy?

51

u/Illustrious-File691 Aug 18 '26

Luff? I think

38

u/Left_Cod_7174 Aug 18 '26

Yup, I couldn't stand that ending

Love when authors promote their stories as romances instead of dramas

17

u/Cold-Nectarine-5515 Aug 18 '26

I swear I remember the ending being vague on purpose, like you couldn't tell if she was with both of them or if they were just friends but idk

16

u/SafeAccurate7157 Aug 18 '26

It was doomed from the beginning 😅 that’s probably why I dropped it cause I only cared that she got the career of her dreams and these two guys were getting in the way. Though loved the one guy with all the animals. Felt like he needed a nice boyfriend.

6

u/elevendyseventhrat Aug 19 '26

im pretty sure they ended up in like a poly relationship or smth😭

15

u/Left_Cod_7174 Aug 18 '26

Everyone stays single until old age where the epilogue happens. The politics that was mentioned throughout the series is basically ignored and the story is rushed. I barely remember it but every time I see I think of the time I wasted on it

4

u/fwoggywitness Aug 19 '26

I’m so glad I dropped ts. I remember being so in love with that story in high school, but I was so busy back then I barley had to time to read and ended up dropping most of those stories, now I’m kinda glad I did!

3

u/Nolascana Aug 19 '26

I think the reason it ended badly was because it needed another season to really do what it set out to.

There was a similar one with the stupid two bodies thing (not lookism) part way through the last season the characters all started clinging to the idiot ball for dear life.

76

u/JessiVerse Aug 18 '26

Days of Hana. I mean I saw the ending from the very beginning but Haru and Choco deserved happiness 😢it’s still a great story.

Currently reading The House You Live In by the same author and it’s really good. It’s for readers 18+ but I recommend it.

24

u/Leetherockstar Aug 18 '26

Days of Hana was the first thing I thought of…no webtoon ever broke my heart the way it did. The worst part is the tonal whiplash between the first half of the story and the second half, so I was completely emotionally unprepared…

20

u/MothEnthusiast88 Aug 18 '26

Yeahh the ending was soo sad I get why they did that but I want them to have a happy ending too

6

u/zoeyandere78 Aug 18 '26

That was my first introduction to the fact that not all stories have a happy ending. I cried for days 😭

4

u/SmallAnimal5177 Aug 19 '26

Choco appears as a dog in the author’s subsequent comic’s family 😭

3

u/barker2017 Aug 19 '26

Came to say Days of Hana. I fast passed that bitch too. I paid for that sadness!!!

Idk about webtoon, but i do have a manga for that: "The Promised Neverland"

I'd really like to make it so that emma doesn't lose her memories at the end...

there are probably other webtoons too, but this is the one which i can remember as of now

10

u/fwoggywitness Aug 19 '26

THIS! As someone who has read the full thing TWICE I’m so annoyed they did that, like it felt like an unnecessary sacrifice considering everything everyone had already been through!

6

STILL not over how mad I was about this ending

4

u/angel_of_mars Aug 19 '26

This omggggg

3

u/EatMoreMango Aug 20 '26

I remember this one, the author literally had to apologize for the ending. Apparently they didnt know how to end it.

51

u/SpyderSquash Aug 18 '26

The first one that came to mind is Mom, I'm Sorry-- not because ending was bad, or wasn't meaningful somehow. It was a fantastic manwha overall. It was just... so, so sad in the end. I also remember being confused and a little distressed by the additional ad comic that came out, which I think was a partnership with Samsung to advertise phones??? I dunno who came up with or approved it, but that was a diabolical choice of comic to pair an ad with 😭😅

21

u/Pxnda_Cakes Moderator [EST] 🦆.☆♡+* Aug 18 '26

I loved the ending because it was a series I really thought would have a happy ending. Was both shocking and tragic

9

u/Kayden_Rayzel Aug 19 '26

I love this one so much that I didn't want it to end. I knew it would be a tragedy bc if it didn't it wouldn't be realistic and such a meaningful story.

9

u/roughbroccoli79 Aug 18 '26

what happened? can someone spoil it for me

19

u/Savings-Horror-8395 Aug 19 '26

It felt rushed. Kinda like the author wanted to drop the series but had to finish it

4

u/DarkKadota Aug 20 '26

If I remember right, ai probably don't, Webtoon wanted it to end differently, but the author wanted to at least finish the series. So they decided to rush the ending in a way that made the author happy.

7

u/my-dog-is-a-bitch Aug 20 '26

there were lots of plot points that were never really tied up. even when the story ended it was just them starting another adventure so there definitely felt like there should’ve been more but the author probably got tired of it. there were a lot of questions that weren’t answered either

39

u/poyotimebaby Aug 18 '26

“Blood of Madame Giselle”

“Abandoned Empress”

“Edith”

14

u/ArticleOld598 Aug 19 '26 edited Aug 19 '26

Omg Abandoned Empress still fills me with unreasonable anger. The red haired guy was right there he's the most reasonable option out of the 3 love interests. Heck I'd even take the green haired yandere if they gave him a redemption arc instead of throwing him out to exile and he never used his genius and yandereness to his full potential. Or better yet let her choose her family and inherit the head title from her dad instead of just becoming the wife of her previous abuser who killed her and the baby she was carrying.

I hated the beginning of the story so much. The ML has an inferiority complex so he abused her, executed her father and family, raped her, impregnated her, let her miscarry the baby, then had her executed while he publicly flaunts that he was with another woman who he also impregnated. And yet repeatedly she fell in love with him again even when seeing him already gives her panic attacks.

Ik fate and plot demands they fall in love but it's sooo stupid. Its like saying its ok to be with the guy that abused you that one time because he was drugged up and so it wasnt him because he cant help it and technically it was his alternate self. It feels diminishing of her trauma and abuse at his hand.

My Evil Husband is Obsessed With the Wrong Person

both the ending of the novel and manhwa. the ending of novel feels empty, the manhwa even worse, because it got axed without any improvisation of the plot. they just cut it while left some plot for next arc

5

This will always be ShootAround for me. We follow the characters through YEARS of incredible development through the zombie apocalypse, and then out of literally nowhere there's a timeskip like 5-10 years in the future with new relationships, an entire new baby, different setting, and then the next chapter is the epilogue, set so far in the future that we get it through one of main cast's granddaughter.

Edit: I checked and apparently ShootAround ended over nine years ago and I'm still mad

7

u/Financial_Milk_6740 Aug 18 '26

STAHPP SHOOTAROUND MENTION IN THE BIG 2026?

I felt the same way 😩

6

u/theallaround Aug 18 '26

Shootaround is the hill I'll die on it was probably my absolute favorite while it was updating for it to end like THAT...

u/LowercaseAcorn Aug 18 '26

I really wish the afterword from the author had more than “they all died”. Give us SOMETHING

I will forever say that Han Seo Jun should’ve been end game.

6

u/AnyaBunBun Aug 19 '26

My life as a loser, it should NOT be a happy ending! it should have been about the bully coming to terms of what he did to the protagonist. not some "oh the timeline was rewritten so we could have a happy ending for everyone involded"

like how much better it would be for the bully to sit there, realized all the time he spent in the jinu kim's body was not building up to anything. And that all of his actions he did to jinu are permanent consequences he now has to live with. Now that he has the understanding and empathy to know what he did.

But noooo, we needed a happy ending that erases the consequences for nearly everyone involved.

The make up remover. Ending was really rushed and we didn’t even know what happened to the mc’s relationship. The side characters literally got a whole chapter for their marriage and there was nothing where it really mattered :/ still a good manwha though

u/Ole_Thalund Aug 18 '26

Not only just one webtoon. I have two: Karsearin: Adventures of a Red Dragon by YKB and WM (??), and Days of Hana by Seokwoo.

They both end on an extremely unsatisfactory note. All the sympathetic characters die or gets imprisoned in various ways.

Days of Hana actually made me cry for days. And not in a good way.

7

u/Sekretess Aug 18 '26

This Girl is a Little Wild ;___; I just... wish it got an ending at all.

3

u/ArticleOld598 Aug 19 '26

I love the MC she's so strong and spunky my type of FL. The artist's other works didn't vibe with me as much.

Also me with Roxanna... i feel so bad for the artist and I hope karma gets her manager

Firefly Wedding. Let’s un-rush those last few chapters and give the ending space to breathe.

Promise Neverland (anime). Season one was genuinely a fucking masterpiece. Season two should burn at the stake. I didn’t even need to watch more than 2 episodes to see how butchered it was. The BEST arc was scraped and it felt like for no reason. It was completely rushed when the manga itself had such a wonderful build up and WHY just WHY in gods name did we get rid of one of the most important characters in the series?! Like it didn’t make any fucking sense to me

5

u/International-Foot53 Aug 19 '26

The abandoned empress, is one that still PMO.

6

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '26

Homesick. It was so clogged, just like Arcane 2. Could've been great, but I felt like it was just a bunch of plot twists for shock value. Like 3 twists every chapter.

u/Redtide_beach2 Aug 18 '26

My beloved oppressor. Them ending up together felt so forced

6

u/peatypeacock Aug 18 '26

I stopped reading when it was clear that there it was going. Sickening.

5

u/Cheap-Blueberry4415 Aug 18 '26

same , how can people ship them after what he did to her ?? (whatever his reasons are)

13

u/Ashamed-Station5588 Aug 18 '26

Dropped it because of the ending. No redemption arc can be good enough to fall in love with someone who drove you to suicide.

14

u/Redtide_beach2 Aug 18 '26

‼️‼️ I really didn’t see it as a romance manhwa and I was glad it showed the real side of the world blabla but then author pulled up that bs as if she didn’t suffer the whole manhwa bc of him🫩

Days of Hana 🥲 Not because it's bad, is a fucking masterpiece but because of the ending itself I wasn't prepared for 🤧 still thinking about it from time to time

5

u/Puzzleheaded_Fox5341 Aug 18 '26

Is that reverse thinking or revenge? If yes, I don’t really read that anymore it’s disturbing and gives me mental issues just reading it. 😓 🫣💔

[I Grow Stronger By Eating!] for sure. The ending was rushed, a lot of story left out.

5

u/Fangsong_37 Aug 18 '26

The Strongest Girl. All the setup and backstory with the one male character only to have her end up with the other one.

6

u/auraxvelle Aug 18 '26

My Girlfriend because the current ending isn't really satisfying after Miho dies

u/Delevian Aug 18 '26

Twilight Poem!

I thought the set up was your standard “ML can’t express his emotions but learns to do it eventually because he loves the FL and they live happily ever after“ that you seen in a ton of these stories.

But instead it turns out he never learns/gets the chance to tell her how he really feels and as a result he is just sad and alone forever.

Kind of a bummer, especially since there was nothing in the text up to that point that made you think they were going to subvert expectations or that the ML and FL weren’t going to end up together. Or even that they didn’t both deserve a happy ending.

Made it feel like it was the first part of an isekai story except there’s no do over, just eternal regret.

Which is real life I suppose, but not what I look for in my fantasy stories.

5

u/aidelstyx Aug 19 '26

The Makeup Remover… because I definitely wouldn't want it to finish that soon and that rushed 😭

4

u/HoneyDewMae Aug 18 '26

Days of fucking Hana😭

3

u/atardecer_celeste Aug 19 '26

I haven't read the sequel, but I absolutely hated the retcon at the end of Solo Leveling

3

u/FanOfCat5 Aug 19 '26

Lumine, he would end up staying with their two sapphic moms(I forget their names) the witch and the weredog

4

u/Thimble_of_Quasar Aug 19 '26

DAYS OF HANA. BECAUSE WHAT WAS THAT?

u/Xavi1016 Aug 19 '26

'Abandoned Empress', words can describe the rage I felt watching her end up with the CP. I read this manhwa years ago and the feelings I felt reading it are still vivid. Like I get not holding him accountable for the actions of a future that was prevented from occurring but it still happened. Tia (Im pretty sure that's what they called the FL) still experienced all that trauma. Marrying that man who didn't even give the the bare minimum when in a relationship, watching him bring in a fucking misstress and then be the reason for her abortion AND MIND YOU she still loved him through this. Not to mention that he also executed her father and she had to watch it happen, not being able to do a single thing. The amount of emotional and physical pain he put her through was unbelievable, especially for me who had just recently gotten into manhwas. Then she goes back in time and has the chance at a redo to get away from his stinck ahh yet she still stays. SHE STAYED. For what? Love? Are we just gonna ignore that if she hadn't intervened with his future he would become that very same man. I don't care if your dad died dude, that's does NOTTT excuse any of your behaviour. LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. It would make more sense if she ended up with no one. (Rip Carson, you were always too good for her). I loved her character during the beginning of the story back when she actually remembered her past but oh well. I think its far past the time for me to let go of this (nearly) decade long grudge. It was nice to finally express my disappointment with it so now ill go eat food to dispel my foul mood.

4

u/SinaminR011 Aug 19 '26

My Daughter Is A Zombie. I understand why it ended the way it did. It was tied up beautifully. But I wanted better for everyone. It was realistic but I just wanted it to be perfect

3

u/copium656_name Aug 19 '26

Attention residents!

The author said it always meant to be an open and ambiguous ending but I just feel weird, like it’s not even an ending, the comment section also agree. And then they admitted they don’t know what to put for the ending so there’s that.

4

u/Expert-Traditional Aug 19 '26

Jinx, I wouldve made it last longer and explored their relationship a bit more. It felt very abrupt. Still, there are a lot of side stories to come, according to Mingwa

5

u/Ziolot-0 Aug 19 '26

Honesty Homesick, i feel like the ending was a bit rushed, i did like the wrap up but the story could've gone so much further imo

8

u/BeLifePhy Aug 18 '26

1) The Snake and the Flower💔💔💔💔💔 2) Duty after school💔💔💔💔💔

These two have worse endings, if I had to change the endings, it would be these two.

3

u/iluvgatoradee Aug 19 '26

duty after school 😭😭💔💔💔💔 I absolute loathe that ending

3

u/MissLittleShadow Aug 18 '26

'Happening' by Ingunn. It's a rage virus zombie tale in the vein of 28 Days Later. The ending is... fucking heartbreaking and I hate it beyond my ability to describe because of something the reader learns AND because it could be easily avoided.

Especially if there was more !!communication!!.

Other than that I enjoyed the story immensely, though for anyone who decides to try it out, the art isn't your common ultra pretty OI type, but it's well structured and works very well for the story it tells.

SPOILER SPOILER . . .

If he'd waited for longer, if they hadn't really walked away and stayed with him, both mom and son would be alive without the GA'DAMN TRAUMA...

Gosh, it still pisses me off.

But looking back, I wonder if he was still very contagious. The virus operated on high emotions and anger to activate the virus, and he was notoriously emotionless for the most part. The infection showed differently in him, coming and receding until he could control it (if I remember right).

If he'd lived and remained virus-active, how would the world have treated him?

Still, that's the ending I'd change.

Also, that one girl's dad gets got instead of Ibak. The exact same way. Because screw him.

Killing Stalking 😭

Love in Reprise

3

u/Brave-Obligation-53 Aug 19 '26

Winter before spring. IT NEVER GOT AN ENDING NOW IT SHALL

3

u/Necessary-Technical Aug 19 '26

Noblesse

I would let the characters stay dead and show the others moving on now that they know the truth, or show Frankenstein revive them on screen so that they can live peaceful lives.

Classic but Needs to said.. The 1/3 going to the ending must be changed. Like all route going to the glazed ml, Ruze needs to be omitted.

Abandoned Empress

3

u/strawberryselkie Aug 19 '26

Beloved by the Male Lead's Nephew. Started out fun and stayed fairly strong and then towards the end, almost out of nowhere, just went completely off the rails. I actually had to go back and reread chapters because I couldn't make sense of what was happening or why.

3

u/livdil98 Aug 19 '26

Archie Comics “Big Ethel Energy” - I think the company decided to end it a season early or something because the author ended with a big time skip chapter and left a ton of plot lines unresolved.

3

u/Empty_Platypus_7106 Aug 19 '26

Dice, It was the most like stupid bittersweet and just straight up annoying cuz the mc was selfless enough to give everyone a wish but himself however he matured mentally but still feels shitty.

3

u/Responsible_Dark_606 Aug 19 '26

For me so far it’s lucky strike

3

u/Kind-Way9346 Aug 19 '26

The Remarried Empress- I'd give rashta the chance to either justify herself from many accusations and her both babies back and let her be the main character til end ... love her smmmm (fight me or else)

5

u/HoldEmpty3717 Aug 18 '26

I’m aware odd girl has not ended yet, but I would change the odd girl out ending. I feel like all the characters development has been brushed to the side and their friendship, especially. Their personalities and friendships were fleshed out just to change the whole main story to romance. The mL for Nari(MC) makes no sense for who she was as a person and was overall poorly written and he’s just quite creepy to me. 😵‍💫

2

u/JazzlikeAwareness629 Aug 18 '26

Girls of the wild

2

u/Wisekittn Aug 18 '26

[Father unrivaled] The final chapter is a summary of what happens with the characters. A quick summary, that feels more tell than show.

2

u/MizzMurder666 Aug 18 '26

Method messiah. Did you see how that ended today?

2

u/Trixter-Kitten Aug 18 '26

Gates of Hell... Wtf was that ending? When did we take a wrong turn at Albuquerque? I would've expanded on the magic system/lore, made the main character less of an unlikeable mess and cut out the lazy twist.

2

u/yellowflickr Aug 18 '26

The Newbie is Too Strong

  • ended the arc abruptly. Didnt even get to the proper ending.

2

u/NeonFraction Aug 19 '26

Missing Love. Everything stays exactly the same except Rieder gets hit by a bus and pisses himself before dying painfully.

He didn’t get a ‘happy’ ending in the original, but I still want blood. He’s a purely evil person and he shouldn’t be allowed to hurt anyone else ever again.

2

u/anon1313130 Aug 19 '26

Nice to meet you 🙏🏻

2

u/dracoXdrayden Aug 19 '26

Definitely DICE it had such a shitty ending

2

u/Nolascana Aug 19 '26

The Gamer.

The ending was so stupid.

The author had a habit of dropping plot threads like no tomorrow, fine... but, they also dug themselves a pit they couldn't get out of.

As soon as literal Hell is seen as a cakewalk, you've gone too far if that's practically the mid point.

I understand health problems were at play, but, still after a decade? That was the ending?

2

u/mikkimoy Aug 19 '26

Dreadful night. I enjoyed it so much and was so excited to learn it ended, and the ending absolutely sucked and was very disappointing to me. It went from a BL I thought would be within my top three to something not very memorable.

2

u/yukiTTtoffi Aug 19 '26

For your murder, it's so suddenly and rushed+ the ML changed out of NOWHERE psychopaths don't turn normal randomly 😭
