Discussion It’s over for Tapas

Post image

Welp. The announcement says no more ink for purchase but you can keep using it till you run out. And of course there was no warning. I didnt top up on ink so now any new chapters I won’t be able to read. My last 100 inks are just going to sit there I guess. Also no news on what will happen to already purchased chapters.

I wonder what this means for series being published in physical form? I like to collect as well as read off tapas so this is a bummer.

Ize press and other publishers probably have independent contracts, some of their series did rely on tapas translation though it seems (it's credited in my Tomb Raider King volumes)

That’s what I’m wondering too 😭 Like hopefully the publishers have their own contracts for translation, but I’m nervous about the series that specifically credited Tapas. I really hope this doesn’t mess with future physical volumes
