Discussion It’s over for Tapas

Post image

Welp. The announcement says no more ink for purchase but you can keep using it till you run out. And of course there was no warning. I didnt top up on ink so now any new chapters I won’t be able to read. My last 100 inks are just going to sit there I guess. Also no news on what will happen to already purchased chapters.

And they’re not even going to merge it with another platform? Super disappointing after the crackdown Kakao did on sites like Bato

It baffles me how they can bust their asses to crackdown on pirate sites but can't maintain actual legal sources ☠️

Is it really that baffling? They operated at a loss and weren't able to turn a profit. They went after piracy sites because they viewed them as cutting in on their ability to profit.

Exept a some of these were making money but they made decisions that made them lose money. The bloat they added didnt help.

Also the way they handled this is so infuriating I refuse to have anything to do with this company after.
