Discussion It’s over for Tapas

Post image

Welp. The announcement says no more ink for purchase but you can keep using it till you run out. And of course there was no warning. I didnt top up on ink so now any new chapters I won’t be able to read. My last 100 inks are just going to sit there I guess. Also no news on what will happen to already purchased chapters.

Well atleast it'll stay active for a while yet. I'll be able to read quite a bit of WUF. Maybe even start another if I time it right.

Can read 181 chapters if i use a WUF everyday.

I started reading manhwa until the end of last year so my wuf list is huge, I am going to miss the comment section a lot 😭 that made Tapas really special. At least they didn’t shut down today.

Tapas had the BEST comment section. Funny, respectful, sometimes snarky, mostly clean. It was so lovely to see someone make a comment that was somewhat awkwardly worded and other readers would be so gracious and KIND in their responses. Truly, truly lovely.
And so often we’d see certain names regularly,
which always made me smile - “Oh, there’s so-and-so in the comments!”
I am so curious where folks are going after
this. I tried downloading Tappytoons, but there is no comment section?
And so far, neither Tappytoons nor Webtoons has my favorite webcomic of all time (manhwa?), “50 Tea Recipes of the Duchess”. Though there are several at an extremely close second.

I also read on Tappytoons and get frustrated I can't make comments. :P 50 Tea Recipes of the Duchess is one of my favorites too. I'm tea obsessed. The one I'm most upset about is "concubine walkthrough" the artwork is so gorgeous and I love how it blends and crosses genres.
