Just using AI is fine- it's a tool to be used, after all. It's only a problem when more than... I guess 50% of the end product is created by AI. Again, AI is a tool- it's one that has a myriad of legitimate use-cases in programming.
The people using ai to mod are likely people who don't know shit about modding in the first place. I'm already seeing so much mod slop in every gaming community I'm a part of and I'm sick of it.
The people using AI to mod is probably most people who ever worked on mods at this point
Like there's a few who won't as a principle but I guarantee most people who's mods you enjoyed, even before AI existed, have since integrated AI into their workflow
