AI is a tool. All this did was lower the threshold for programming. Just like AI slop images were popular a few years ago, nobody's going to care about actually bad software in the future, or if someone says "they" programmed it, as it's about as true as 'being an artist because you opened MS Paint once'.
A lot of holes in the desert, and a lot of problems are buried in those holes. But you gotta do it right. I mean, you gotta have the prompt already set before you show up with tokens for the agent. Otherwise, you're talking about a half hour to 45 minutes worth of boondoggling. And who knows who's gonna come along in that time? Pretty soon, you gotta dig a few more holes. You could be there all fucking night.
"AI is just a tool" but there are many people who use it as a full replacement, not doing any coding themselves just simply prompting everything. Saying "AI is a tool" is like saying that Subway is just a tool to make a sandwich.
