Back when design has a little character.

I had that exact same case! This is a sweet setup that's similar to what I had years ago.

I have that case too. Thought it was rare, but seems like every week someone posts a pic of theirs lol

I loved this case back then, so I got 2!

Service Tech for a small shop in the Bellevue WA area 2001-02. That was the case we built all orders out of for a time. I believe we also had some Enlight and Inwin options but they were costlier. This one was the most economical choice for a small place like the one I worked at. Still have the scars on my fingers from that thing. Good memories nonetheless.

I was in Kansas City area at the time of those cases, but now I’m up the road in Kirkland!

I can vouch for that, lol. Got enough cuts on my hands from working in that case!

I would love to get a brand new one with no yellowing

It was a common case from the late 90's but very cool. The motherboard tray on this one is actually hinged so you can put it down and install the board

Love the Live Drive IR. And the feeling of awe I had when playing my first round of Quake 3 on a Voodoo card is a core memory i think I'll have forever.

Does it have ACPI?

Yes. It's actually a server grade board with two P-II 266mhz cpus on it but I couldn't get Win2K to behave with the Voodoo Banshee card so I got back to Win98SE. No SMP though

give it about 2 weeks and someone will vibecode an smp enabler for windows 9x

Ahah! That sounds about right. I honestly don't know how to feel about all that IA assisted coding

Nem tinha reparado que o windows está em português quando vi o post. Bem fixe ver mais malta portuguesa com o hobby do retro computing.

Reminds me of my cambridge 4.1 setup. When it was really quiet you could hear them receiving FM radio.

This is actually the Four Point Surround 1000 speaker set from Cambridge Soundworks and yes, I got that creepy fm radio picking up too!

I first thought I was losing it, faint voices whispering.

Lovely setup. I used to have the SoundBlaster Live. Please could you share the Windows 98 wallpaper?
