Question What if a non-telepath uses cerebro ?

To my understanding Cerebro is used to enhanced the telepathy of the user. What if not the telepath uses cerebro ? Would it like, fry the brains of the user ?

They become even more not telepathic and can sense mutants even less

Yeah, some models do block the user's eyes.

mutant horse blinders...also why don't we see more mutant horses?! I think there is... one?
