I’m a first year major student with concurrent education program.

Apparently if I want to become a teacher it feels like only things matter are the reference letter and if I passed all required courses or not.

And there is no reason to have high GPA for my major unless I want scholarships.

Obviously I’m a first year and I don’t know anything about university things… I just wanted to ask about this

nothing really to this post but as a first year who wants a really good gpa, i’m sooo scared i won’t get a high enough grade in the 4 exams i have ☹️

Hi there , I have over paid my amount due for this semester , which I’m fine with as it will go towards my next payment. I’m wondering why it still says a minimum amount due . Could this just be a timing issue as to when OSAP paid and when I paid ? And perhaps the next statement will reflect this ?
Any advice will help

Just saw a lost cat crossing the street at Pond Rd and Sentinel Rd, coming from the direction of campus. Cat then headed towards The Quad, turning on Pizza Studio.

Cat looked young, had white fur and had a blue collar (if memory serves me right). I hope it was headed in the direction of its home, or that this post helps find the cat if it wasn't.

a question for the students who are currently studying or have studied in York using the PISE Scholarship, how were your applications? what did you do, what did you write, what was the key factor that made you get accepted?

Has anyone taken this course with Micheal Cardinal Aucoin? How did you find the midterms to be? I'm finding it difficult to study for this course.

My phone got stolen and I have no way to get into duo on my temporary phone. I'm already logged in on my laptop, so is there a way to register my new phone on my laptop? I thought there was a way through eclass, maybe im misremembering

for people who have taken the course with him before, in your experience what were the questions in his midterms based on mostly? were they similar to the assignments or the textbook excercises?

I just graduated from uOttawa and working in downtown. At the moment, I’m renting just a room. But my family will be visiting me over the summer, so I was thinking of subletting a furnished place with 2 rooms (I don’t mind if it’s a 3 bedroom apartment/house and we have a roommate.) So, if you have a place like that and will be subletting it over the summer, I’ll be interested.

But for now, I just wanted to know how long will you be willing to sublet for? 2, 3 or 4 months.

I just graduated and work/live in Toronto. I want to find a lawyer girlfriend. Where do I find them (outside of campus obviously).
