Here’s my batgirl costume I’m so happy I got many compliments while wearing it out!!! The weather finally got better. It’s much colder so I can wear it now. Thank you everybody for your comments they have made me very happy

I remember watching this in cinemas as a kid. I was old enough to somewhat use the internet, but otherwise not really understand the significance of the film

Only in the years since did I understand how dire the state of the Batman franchise was. It had only been 8 years since Batman & Robin, which might sound like a lot, but that's about the gap between Infinity War's release and now

Christopher Nolan was an up and coming director and Christian Bale was an up and coming actor, and then you had all these prestige actors playing it straight. Expectations were low so nobody expected the film to be as good as it did. The fact that Batman went from one of the worst CBMs ever in Batman and Robin to one of the best ever with Batman Begins must've been a thrill for Batman fans

For those who remember, what were your thoughts and expectations at the time?

Gonna be the first to say it definitely has flaws and probably wouldn’t win any beauty contests … but it was fun to make! Next year, I’m gonna try Scarecrow from “BTAS”.

Its spooky month, and I feel like no more fitting of a character I could work on the design for right now than Scarecrow. I was dead set on including that scuffed cloth plague doctors mask. I think it suits him.

Thoughts on this pick? I’d assume it’s probably not a super popular choice but I don’t really care. He’s such a good character and needs to be used more as a Batman villain.

This question popped into my mind after seeing this Justice League lineup, with Batman being the second shortest member. Of course, his canon height is 6’2”, but how much higher or lower would you be okay with his height being?

Just finished reading the TPB of Matt Fraction's run and I just love how Jorge Jiménez draws Bruce here, especially when he's off-costume.

The issue where he was being chased by motorcycle-riding/sword-wielding henchmen while on a "date" was a fun read that got me thinking that he'd make for a good suave equivalent to James Bond.

Now if TPB could lock and let us see Bruce see some action without going bags, I'll be all in for it. :)

Also, being my first mainline Batman book, I had no idea of the current circumstances here which I got to read about in forums ahead of reading the book (Vandal Savage is GCPD commissioner, Poison Ivy is mayor (currently not seen in this book in particular, Alfred is dead-dead but now appears as an apparition in Bruce's head, etc.) so yeah, I'm surprised on those parts. :)
