NEWS Astronomers just made my biggest gripe with Supergirl's movie make sense.

They discovered a green star. The stupidiest, laziest thing in the movie not makes sense. Oh God...

I was surprised at two things that happen early on in this episode. First, Darkseid kills Desaad. Woah.
Second, the giant snake-thing that attacks Batman and Wonder Woman on New Genesis breaks the Lasso of Hestia. That thing has held all kinds of creatures but it gets snapped here.
Kind of surprised about Desaad because he’s part of what Darkseid is. I guess snapping the Lasso can sort of get elided over…maybe because it’s magic it self heals or something.

In a future where people might no longer clearly remember Superman, she could finally move beyond being a second-tier hero, and an environment with more advanced technology might feel more like Krypton. Perhaps—just perhaps—if her solo film had been more profitable, Warner Bros. might have considered an idea like this; it would also be interesting to see her interact with Brainiac 5 after having faced the original Brainiac in *Man of Tomorrow*.

Do people still think Ellison won’t have an influence on what the DCU produces? This is not a good sign for future projects. And sad to say, but if Gunn/Safran/Corenswet/Reeves are just bending the knee thats sad too.

We are a long ways away from being able to talk about full sagas in the DCU, but I think it’s better to ask the question now then wait till the last minute. We are already 2 years into phase 1 of the DCU, In the MCU Thanos was set up to be the main bad as early as the first avengers movie. That’s 5 years before his first true appearance in infinity war.
My question is, should we be focusing long term and if so who should be the big bad of the first saga?
We already have 3 likley candidates, 1 that I really don’t want, and 2 that I’m conflicted about.
Parallax: An underrated option but could lead to an amazing opportunity for marvel to make more villains well known (that aren’t Batman related) Parallax has the potential to be a saga level threat and if done right with Hal Jordan’s resurrection I think this could be an absolute banger.
Brainiac: This is a very safe choice as the first saga villain, he is well known by DC fans and the general audience. They are already setting him up in man of tomorrow as the main villain and I genuinely believe James Gunn will be smart enough to not waste Braniac in one single movie like marvel did with Ultron.
Darkside: I don’t want this…
Simply put it, he needs to be the second saga villain. Darkside is DC’s biggest villain and shouldn’t be wasted.

Like I imagine he might be really vain and arrogant. And maybe him perving on Professor Vaggi's students in Creature Commandos maybe wasn't an act and he's kind of a perv and with the trailer that seems be what gets his face cut up cause he sleeps with the wife or daughter of some crime boss who might be Black Mask.
Like from what I gather that dumb thing Skydance's website calling him an Anti hero is total BS. Someone on twitter who saw the film said he's a villain and we see in Creature COmmandos he's a straight up supervillain and well known by someone like Flagg Sr.
Like this film is gonna end with him becoming or going down the path of being just a straight up super villain.

What if James Gunn brought the Justice League International “Bwa-ha-ha” era to the big screen? 😂
A movie that mixes the team’s ridiculous humor with real character drama and big superhero action could be so much fun. And with rumors swirling about Mister Miracle and Big Barda, I’m already imagining how wild the team could get.
I also think Squid Game star Jung Ho-yeon could be a great Dr. Light (Kimiyo Hoshi).
We’ve already got Blue Beetle and Guy Gardner in the mix, and I really hope the Booster Gold show still happens someday.
Then we’d just need Fire and Ice—my picks would be Camila Mendes as Fire and Kristine Froseth as Ice.
I’d also love to see this team go up against Doomsday—maybe even recreate their brutal clash from the comics during the Death of superman.
Would you want to see a JLI movie with that Bwa-ha-ha energy? And who would you cast?

They should have made a cyborg movie before justice league instead of just having him hover in the BvS movie.

When did dc start to fall off justice league was a bit rushed but man of steel and batman v Superman was amazing. They should have added more characters afterwards.

Back in 2008 when the MCU first started, social media wasn't nearly as toxic or miserable as it is now. Social media culture today has just become so incredibly negative.
