News Sochan dropped by blazers.
Sad. Hope he finds his place somewhere.

He played hurt and didn’t get it done. Heard nothing but trash from the fans and trust me, he heard what we said. A healthy Fox with a chip on his shoulder? Dude is going to show up.

Dude dealt with finger and thigh issues the whole regular season, then rolled his ankle hard against the Wolves in the playoffs and had to sit Games 1 and 2 of the WCF. Under normal circumstances most guys would’ve been shut down the rest of the way to focus on getting healthy.
But after the Spurs dropped a game to the Thunder without a real point guard (Castle had 11 turnovers trying to fill in), Fox forced his way back and helped push San Antonio to the Finals.
Yeah, he struggled bad in the Finals, no question. But the guy literally put his career on the line for his team. In an era where everybody’s so careful about injuries, that kind of grit deserves way more respect than it’s getting.

In his last 3 games he averaged 17 ppg and 3 assists and was very solid defensively too. He looks like he could force himself into the rotation very soon potentially the backup PG of the future

The main basketball sub was complaining when Sabonis got a flagrant foul for hitting wemby in the face. They called Wemby soft and a flopper and accused the nba of favoring him, even blaming Wemby for touching Sabonis’ wrist first.
Yet they complained that Wemby shoved Sabonis who went flying across the court despite him being stronger than Wemby. They argued that was an offensive foul and was mad refs didn’t call it.
Am I crazy to think the ref was right? Sabonis elbowing Wemby in the face was a flagrant and dangerous. Wemby push off was a normal basketball play. It’s crazy fans think what Wemby did was worse than what Sabonis did.
This happened in the finals too. Everything Wemby did was crucified yet fans ignored Knicks doing the same thing.

I am cautiously optimistic about this. I think with Tobias at the 4, this lineup could work. It’s also important to realize that who starts, won’t always be who finishes, as we know with the GOAT sixth man Manu.
I think this is the best move to assuage and Devin will buy in. Race for seis begins!

Just wondering what you guys are thinking about the Pre-Season. Anything that stood out especially? How did you like the rookies, 3 guard lineup, Wemby as playmaker, etc… Let’s get a nice discussion going!

So today is the last day to use the fan club 50% off discount code for DAZN. The email states that you can use the code on either the standard or ultimate plan. I tried using it for the ultimate plan but then it says the code isn’t valid for that plan and only for the standard plan.
Because it’s the last day to use it I signed up for the standard plan with the hopes that customer support would be able to assist in getting me on the ultimate plan. After speaking with support I came to the conclusion that it had to be AI. It was the most disappointing, scripted, non helpful customer support experience I think I’ve had. I asked them to just cancel the plan I had signed up for (not an hour before) and refund me and they said they could cancel but not refund me, which is just ridiculous.
Not even one week having to use this service and I am extremely disappointed.
