Welcome Engineers to a brand new month and contest! Sorry it is late. I lost track of the date, and I apologize. But don't think I'm skipping a month! Oh no! I've got flair to update! Last month's theme was the Ladder, and you all had fun with it! Let's dive on in! First up is the storied kmarkow and their Tree Fort! Who needs Tarrey Town when Link can just build a treehouse! Monster might just walk by and never see you! Second place goes to Erico9001 and their speedy build, Inchworm Vehicle! The speed! The grace! Ganondorf will regret awakening when this vehicle gets to him. . . Eventually. . . Third place goes to InquisitiveHomosap and their Tyrannosaurus Mechs (natural and unnatural variant). I love a mech build and I love dinosaurs. I love how the tail moves as it walks around! Fantastic builds one and all! Enjoy your new/updated flairs!
Now that old business is done, it is time for your assignment! The last couple months I've been have you all steal items with glitches to make your builds more interesting! This month is no different! This month, I chose one of the newest items to steal! This month your assignment is the [Juney Wagon]! It is an item that can be stolen using the instructions in this video! The video is in Japanese, but if you go to the Closed Captioning settings to translate into your chosen language. It takes a second, but it works. I can't wait to see what you all build! Get building, Engineers!
Don’t forget to put [OCT26] as the first word in the post title or it doesn’t count! You can’t adjust post titles once they have been posted. Also, remember only green flared posts can enter, and to mark any speed edits. Top 3 most upvoted posts get the win! The prize is a custom user flair! The winners will be announced November 1st or the first Saturday of November! Keep building, Engineers!
EDIT: The Juney Wagon has to be default size as it can't be sized up in-game.

I have added a new flair to the subreddit! It is for people to use to post tutorials on here for how to build things, where to find items, and how to do glitches/other tricks! Enjoy!

This device is formed by a glue looped circuit of two motors, a stabilizer and a base metal plate, all scaled down. This makes the stabilizer less prone to breaking due to wobbling.
This mechanism can be used to lock sideways rotation of a build but still allow it front and back rotation. It can be used to balance bikes, reduce swaying on aircraft builds or create gimbal aircrafts.
The video shows footage of two sample prototype builds that use this device: A gimbal gunship and a wall climbing bike.

This version of the Marauder has a Gimbal. I Attached a Fireproof Wagon Wheel to the steering stick and then placed a Mini Stabilizer on the back of the steering stick. This gives it the ability to Ascend and descend steep hills without throwing Link off the steering stick by tilting him too far.

Hey guys! So this week both editors of THEW are busy and we were wondering if anyone else would be willing to step in this week. Please let me know so we don’t have 10 THEWs! Thank you!

Asuka has received a major overhaul, so I’m releasing it again.
The V6 version features a lighter, redesigned frame and a reworked engine, resulting in greater agility and improved durability. The previous issue of the mech frequently obstructing the camera has also been fixed, making it much less nerve-racking to pilot.
The era of high-speed propeller builds is here! In high gear, it averages 18–23 m/s while maintaining excellent maneuverability.
Low gear allows it to hover and attack, as well as walk and reverse on the ground.
It can now take off directly from level ground. However, I still recommend using Recall to switch to low gear before starting the engine to ensure a safe takeoff.
Have fun!

The wizzrobes gather around their sacred shrine bowl to recite the ancient spells powerful enough to Moe-enlarge fortified pumpkins.
These bigger-than-normal pumpkins will spread much pumpkinness to all of Hyrule in this time of need.

I need some help! Which side looks better? Working on my new build, and I can’t make up my mind ( ´▽`)

While drifting this car has exponential speed to the point you can throw link off at the speed cap, if you chain drifts it can keep some crazy speeds! Really good fun and allows for crazy looking drifts! Land Rover Defender at the end aswell, much better for all terrain and storage capabilities! Will have a some more designs coming to this series

It’s pretty clear to me by this point what I’m dealing with in the Propeller / Juney interaction practically amounts to Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). The footage of the Motor Forward Position in the comments exhibits an alternating ~5Hz pulse / steady ON - and I hypothesize a perfectly concentric setup would eliminate or drastically reduce this alternation.
To me, this data suggests the Propeller is turning ON and OFF about five or six times per second, give or take a bit. I’m now intensely curious if that’s some sort of hard limit. I’m assuming absolute maximum would be the 60Hz framerate.
If this pulse rate can be varied (it clearly can), then Juney Boost thrust calculation might just be a simple measure of the percentage of time Propeller OFF.
Anyhow, curious if data about this exists. If not, mine might be among the first! 😆

It may not be immediately obvious what I’m working on, so I figured I’d give a quick breakdown.
Juney Engines are notoriously challenging to control; and I’ve landed on the Friction / Electric Hybrid Driveshaft as the likeliest candidate for success at a meaningful throttling mechanism.
It’s long held that Shrine Propellers are a binary-state forward thrust generator; they are either ON or OFF. I’m not entirely certain that’s technically accurate, but either way the Driveshaft is demonstrably capable of riding that boundary with better precision than basically any other system I’ve worked with.
In earlier segments, I’ve demonstrated a CoAxial Juney thruster is indeed a workable dynamic - though it requires a level of engineering precision that was beyond me for most of my stint in Hyrule — and is still time consuming beyond any other project I’ve taken on 😅
In this clip, an experimental Driveshaft arrangement, capable of integrating a CoAxial Juney Engine, is set up; it’s been a slog getting everything parallel / concentric — and work still needs to be done as it’s still a bit wobbly. Despite this, it has good snappy performance at kicking ON and riding the ON/OFF boundary; as well as an amount of slop that’s useful for highlighting the great importance of pixel-perfect concentricity in such a system.
As is now known, the Propeller ON state dramatically slows the CoAxial Juney Boost - while it kicks back up when the Prop is OFF. So, I propose riding the boundary in a controlled manner is key to throttling forward Juney force, usefully. Imprecision in the Driveshaft concentricity demonstrably complicates the boundary state - resulting in the “gallop” seen in the prior video. I propose that eliminating this gallop will result in a system very fine throttle control over Juney output — greatly increasing the potential useful airspeed of Propeller-type craft.
Thank you, Hyrule Engineers, for your efforts and sustained attention at this critical juncture in our Department’s history!

New Micro version, love the smaller design and gave me 4 extra pieces to build with, in this case I put flood lights but you could put weapons or other features! Original is compared in the video, its quite alot smaller and doesnt fit link inside anymore so its 3rd pwrson instead

First of all: I'm playing on the switch 1, current version, no mods. So I'm kinda limited.
I got the juney cart today but I haven't managed to build anything useful with it. Guess I don't have the correct spacing with the spring... I see lots of steel barrels in use. Why is that and where might I get one? forgot about that one shrine...
Are there any other cool parts? Any special physics parts? Or fancy physics interactions? For example, why is everyone using the boat?
Are there advantages to some tiles, like that grid tile vs your average wooden board?
Please tell me everything :D I wanna do cool stuff but it just keeps jiggling around and being janky

It happened after a build with a turret fell. The turret is 3 shrinked beam emmiters gravity pressed together, as a pulse laser turret but I removed the rest to experiment with the glitch. I have been unable to recreate it but I think this is because one of the pressed emmiter is detached but for some reason it doesn't use batterie anymore... I can't test it more right now but I will later see if it run out after 30min as other battery-based zonai devices.
