Came home to a court summons on my door. Now what?

I came home from work today to find a court summons tamped to my door. The problem is, it’s not my name on the summons, but it does have my address. Is there anything that I need to do?

Could we have a case against our home’s sellers for undisclosed crawlspace moisture damage and buckling hardwood floors? Should we consult a real estate attorney? Florida.

UniCourt public record removal ?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hey, I googled my name and my public record for a firearm confiscation is published online part of public record. I requested it to be removed but they only redacted my name for 6 months. I struggled to maintain a good reputation at my last job, didn’t realize this was online.

Location: Contra Costa County, California

Do I need to get a lawyer ?

The email said:

“…During this 6 month temporary redaction period, you may wish to file a motion to seal this public record with the court…”

How can I “file a motion”?

Please and Thank you

Ca Wage claim trial

CA - I filed a wage claim back in 2024, had a settlement conference (employer didn’t want to settle) now we hav a hearing coming up. What should I expect. I reached out to the Labor Commissioner and the employer didn’t file an answer so I’m not sure if they will show up or not. I’m seeing talk that it could take months to get actual payment if I were to win. I’m almost positive my case is winnable and right now I’m quoted about $9k but I also know it can go either way so I’m hoping and praying.

So what to expect and if you won when and how did you get payment?

Frage zur Erbschaft und Schuldenhaftung nach Todesfall Österreich

Location: Austria

Hallo zusammen,
