I'm new to this, just got my Bambu A1 combo. It comes with PETG filaments, and I've tried using it but it doesn't stick to the plate.

I guess it's because it's damp AF right now at home, so as I understand by reading some threads here, a dryer might be useful.

I've seen some options :

- AMS HT

- Sunlu S2

- Sunlu S4

I'm on a budget so the AMS 2 Pro for example is out.

Would the Sunlu S2 be enough for PLA / PETG, or will I get better performance / ease of use with the AMS HT ?

This model of mine has a lot of support, and sometimes the slicer doesn't generate support there, so I need to paint some on, but I never had that support that didn't exist and started printing in midair.

Looking for a solution, I tried painting more supports and closing and reopening the slicer, but it didn't work. It also isn't a visual bug because when printed, the support starts printing in midair.

Update: I changed the support type, and now it works.

I've tried TinkerCAD, which seemed totally useless and really annoying to do anything with.

Now I'm trying to learn Autodesk and holy shit is is complicated, making basic shapes is like my Everest currently 😂

With all the amazing community models and remixes etc out there it seems so many people can just easily throw things together or make tweaks to existing models, I just wanted to ask if anyone has any advice on how to attain some basic level of competency and what is the best software to learn on? For pretty casual use really.

Im sure this is unnessesary and will probably not reach all the people that helped me today but i had a massive stress lording over me today. My fanily had purchased a 3d printer for me (second hand) and the previous sellers had left it in such a bad state i had to pull it apart around 5 times today and had no help usiong the bambu labs forums to fgiure it out. The amount of comments and support i got today really made me feel a lot better about my situation and even though a lot of comments werd not the immediate solution, the fact you guys took your time to write them is what matters! im hugely grateful to you all and thankful i had the courage to put a post up on reddit as a hail mary to sort it out. EVERYTHING I MAKE NOW WILL HAVE YOU ALL IN MIND! i feel like i picked a great hobby to start up and can tell ill get support no matter what happens in the future.

Is it speed? Im using the .12 setting on the slicer with my p1s.

I cannot find what the actual name of this piece is, it’s in the ams for the P1S where you push it down to disconnect the ptfe tube from the ams, does anyone know where I can buy one or print one, thank you!

Could someone please help me understand why my first layer is printing some areas perfect and other over extruded?

I've trammed, calibrated, and many other variables with no luck....

All day today my prints have immediately been failing and I can’t figure out what’s going on. I’ve cleaned my nozzle, cleaned my bed, done a cold pull, recalibrated, tried different filament, etc. but no matter what I do, this keeps happening.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I ordered 4 spools of filament with free shipping a few weeks ago and it arrived in just two days, i even ordered it at like 4pm, but in january it took 1-2 weeks to arrive for still just a few spools, does anyone know why?

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share my latest design that I just submitted for the MakerWorld Incense Design Contest. It’s a Yin Yang Zen Garden & Cone Incense Holder.

I noticed a lot of incense holders leave a mess of ash on the desk, so I designed a two-part modular system. It features an outer tray and an inner insert with fluid Yin Yang grooves. The cone incense holder is completely removable and is designed to act as an ash catcher to keep things clean.

If you use fine incense sand in the tray, you also have the option to skip the plastic holder entirely and place the cone directly on the sand for a more traditional, minimal look.

Multiple Sizes: I exported profiles ranging from 125mm up to 250mm in diameter. The 125mm to 175mm versions fit perfectly on the A1 mini build plate!

I’d love to hear your thoughts or feedback on the design. What filament colors would you use for this?

I can’t figure out the issue with my P1S. It has about 1100 hours of use. I’ve tried declogging it and replaced the nozzle. I appreciate any help!

Never thought it would happen to me but late night printing and woke up to this. Does anyone have any ideas on how to hide it/prevent it from happening again?
