I guess if you're interested in winning football games, you're from this area, you should go to UCLA. If you want to go to a Aminé concert, you should go to Oregon

(man I wish there was a more famous musician from Oregon to make this joke work)

Aminé performed at Bruin Bash when I was a student lol

We had Major Lazer + Diplo, Kendrick Lamar, and Childish Gambino at Bruin Bash 2011, but nobody knew who they were yet lol

[u/AdolinofAlethkar → u/notchandlerbing]

Yeah but Childish opened with You See Me and every Asian girl at Drake Stadium instantly had an orgasm.

I remember it very fondly.

We had LMFAO in 2009.

they did not have the same career trajectory.

[u/notchandlerbing → u/jennz]

Their star burned bright tho, just not for very long lol

[u/AdolinofAlethkar → u/jennz]

lol LMFAO and Clipse, that was my freshman year

[u/Effective-Lead-6657 → u/AdolinofAlethkar]

That’s a crazy combo

[u/Delicious_Cancel_708 → u/jennz]

We had rah rah riot in 2012

I left early

Everyone at least knew Dong Lover...excuse me, Don Glover

[u/loopybubbler → u/PhillyPhanatik]

You just reminded me that I saw Dong Lover at OSU. Also had Juicy J on before that, who got a better reaction from the crowd.

[u/notchandlerbing → u/PhillyPhanatik]

Kinda true, but he was still very niche as a rapper. I knew who he was, but mostly because I watched Community and 30 Rock. A lot of my friends didn't even know him from that though

[u/breakwater → u/notchandlerbing]

Dude, I would have paid good money to hear Troy sing "werewolf bar mitzvah"

[u/flapua → u/notchandlerbing]

I'd spend rent money to see that lineup
