Just transferred here from LBCC. I’m going full time, work 30 hours a week, been prepping for bodybuilding comp, do gymnastics, and also have two 4lbs gremlin chihuahuas which is a full time job itself 🫠 also trying to balance everything else in my life and my relationship.

I’m starting to feel really depressed and mentally drained. The things I enjoy don’t feel enjoyable anymore. I only feel like this during the semester though, so I find myself questioning if school is really worth all this mental toll. But then break rolls around, and I wish I was doing more with my life. I feel like i barely have time to use the bathroom rn though.

Should start appearing and get sent out today

I’m dropping a class because I’ve recently changed my major. Now I don’t need the class and had a C currently so I thought it would be good to drop since it’ll do more harm than good if I keep it. I already put the request in and let them know the reason was because of major changes. Do you think the people on the committee will accept it? Im scared 😭😭

Hey everyone!

With Spring 2027 registration coming up, I wanted to share a Chrome extension I built called CSULB ProfCheck.

Instead of having to constantly switch between MyCSULB and RateMyProfessors while looking for classes, ProfCheck automatically displays professor ratings directly in the MyCSULB class search.

Features:

⭐ View RateMyProfessors ratings directly next to professors

🔍 Click on ratings to see more professor details

⚙️ Customize settings to hide unrated professors or filter by minimum rating

🚀 Lightweight and works automatically while browsing classes

I originally built this because I got tired of having a million tabs open every registration period, so I figured other students might find it useful too.

It's completely free, and I'd really appreciate any feedback or suggestions for improvements!

Good luck with Spring registration and hope this helps! :)

My classroom always has a class in it with a brief window one day a week. I can’t do my homework at home and some of these assignments this late in the semester need more time than i get on that one day.

Does anybody know a good upper division C class thats also a writing intrnsive one? Im a CE major, and rn i got Philosphy 402, engineering ethics, with John Vella, just wondering if thats a good class or if theres better options

What can i put as a reason for my withdrawal to be approved?

I was wondering if any of yall could provide some advice or feedback regarding taking CECS 456 with Zhang or Sarshar. They don’t have that many reviews on RMP so any info would be nice regarding their class structure, exams, assignments, etc. Just trying to pick the best prof for a nicer/easier time as my next semester is going to be pretty loaded. Thank you ahead of time 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

What do the illustration classes teach?how is it different like what do they go more in depth in?

I'm thinking of taking ENGR 350 for the winter, has anybody taken this course during Winter/Summer? How was your experience and do you recommend taking it during those sessions or during a regular session.

tied to the zine from earlier in the month

hey guys I’m taking a minor in creative writing and I was looking at the schedule of classes for spring 2027 and Engl 404 with Lisa Glatt seems to align the most with what I would like my schedule to look like alongside my major classes. I’ve only taken 405 and 407 (which I’m retaking next sem) and I was wondering what kind of writing it is since I’m a bit unclear (stories, articles etc.) and what to expect with the class?

Looking for some feedback on this class. Thanks!

Has anyone taken this class? Looking for class specifics and professor recommendations.

I originally remember last seeing it in the 1st floor of the CPIE building but accidently forgot to bring it with me. Then when I went back to find it, it’s gone. It’s grey and black. Similar to the image below. If anyone has it or has found it, can you plz lmk!!
