I'm still mad about Drifter's unnecessary Gun nerf which ruined his identity as a Gun hero and the ability to itemize around his Gun dmg and stacking gimmick, and now you're forced to itemize around Rend even if you do hybrid. Even though Rend was the problem.
Silver needs some drastic changes in my opinion, but all they had to do for Drifter was nerf Rend, but nope. Meanwhile Celeste, McGinnis, Wraith, and Haze get to either go unpunished or take way longer to receive their nerfs.
Devs are either too distracted by working on new content, or they've been smoking crack the last 4 months.
Thanks for the definition. Anyways, anyone who has played the game for years has probably noticed by now minor balance patches have generally done an extremely poor job of breaking up things that are meta.
The last minor balance patch for Celeste is a perfect example. There's genuinely no reason to assume a minor balance patch is going to kill Warden or prevent every M1 carry from abusing Magnum/Overflow. I expect that in the item rework.
Are you asking if I'm willing to spend the next 30 minutes going through 2 years of balance patches to write up examples for an argument on Reddit neither of us are going to remember in 2 days?
There are literally lots of examples of the opposite happening. The OP items / builds get nerfed, something else gets buffed to be the new flavor of the day
Echo Shard got nerfed, Tornado spam and Sleep Haze gone
Haze ult bot and Curse got nerfed
Mina deleting everyone with ult got nerfed
Apollo riposte-ing away from any danger got nerfed
Doorman gets rebalanced like every patch to get some buffs and nerfs (kidnapping gone though)
Shiv and Silver being nerfed like every patch
Viscous gun / splatter builds being nerfed
Yamato 6 grapples removed
Dashfernus nerfed
Calico going from useless to existing in every game and back and back again and back
Resto locket being bought by everyone nerfed (talking about the stamina changes, not the latest round)
Many of those weren't minor patches and there's no way we're counting a lot of those anyways. Shit like "Shiv and Silver got nerfed again" or "Doorman got nerfed again" doesnt actually say anything to the point and is literallu just thrown in to make your point sound like it has kore examples than it does. Many didnt drastically change anything for the characters they got nerfed. Like yes, celeste got nerfed, but it doesnt matter if it doesnt really change anything.
So like real talk, do we just choke our own economy because haze exists in a match? The lack of vision and vision control deadlock is such a detriment.
"Over extending" is being at your lane shop when you have walker up there. With her invis and schmoovement she can be anywhere within 30s. You clear two waves to get it pushing and then you die.
You ever hear of having reading comprehension and inferring the meaning of text without it being blatantly layed out for you? You just made it 10x worse trying to snap back with some snark instead of just admitting you read it wrong. It’s okay to acknowledge when you’ve made a mistake
Tbf the merc mag posts have been TAME. When trophy collector got reworked it got more posts in 1 day than merc mag got in 2 weeks. And they don't even compare to the Celeste posts from various patches
True I was just joshin. I personally dont think Merc Mag itself is too problematic. Spiritual Overflow is just an overstated nightmare and they just happen pair really well together on certain champs.
