Yeah they really don't need to. I'll be honest if they gave him just lore to make the look make sense it would be fine, he looks iconic imo. And if the people saying Yamato's kit will get a rework are right... fuck I'm gonna have trouble playing a lot again if they change it too much. Yamato's gameplay loop is my own version of what deadlock is (alongside Vin and Silver).

Ohhh, you mean new voice lines as in adding new ones. I was thinking new voicelines as in changed VA and changing the current ones.

Only Yamato change we need is her grapple breaking like Billy's Chain Gang.

Her grapple's a tough thing to change because she kind of desperately needs it or she's fucked. I genuinely think changing the grapple to not work like it does would take a chunk of her WR from her solely because she only has her 1 as her main damage and people movement flying around corners and to kingdom come makes it impossible for her to catch anyone for mispositioning, and it goes especially for characters like Holiday and Celleste.
