I mean if we go back far enough then most newyorkers are pretty much invasive.

Idk I wouldn’t call immigrants invasive personally.

Edit: also a little weird to suggest New Yorkers are a different species than native Americans. Personally I don’t believe I that kinda thing I think we’re all one species.

Before what we might consider immigration. I'm speaking more about the colonial empire side of things. But nice try.

Most New Yorkers are not children of colonizers. Their ancestors came during the big immigrations waves so if your point was about colonization you’re just factually wrong.

yeah the legacy of colonialism is complex sure - where do you draw the line ect. Honestly I wasn't trying to write a dissertation - I was being pithy. America was founded by invaders and colonizers and the empire that stands there now is the legacy of that endeavor. Why quibble?
