It's clear this guy really likes large and stronger tokens. The thing is, searching scryfall for token generators that go wide instead of tall is kinda tough. Off the top of my head I got rampaging baloths, Kiora of fire and ash, and that's about it. Any other recommendations?

Hello! This is kind of an odd request, but I got myself these beautiful sleeves, and would like to brew a EDH deck (around bracket 2 and 3 for casual) that would fit this thematically.

Do you have any ideas for commanders that would fit these colors and theme? Maybe something Boros or Naya?

I had a look into the Kamigawa Neon Dynasty set but didn't find any that sorta fit into this. (i already have a separate boros Samurai deck).

I love black mana and combo decks and I really love the art, vibe and effect of Valgavoth, but he's got the elephant in the room of being 9 mana...

I was throwing around the idea of a [[Doomsday]] pile combo version of him in my head, using him as an additional [[Bola's Citadel]] to then do the [[Sensei's Divining Top]] / [[Aetherflux Reservoir]] combo.

But...it would suck if he was just the vehicle for that and not get a chance to do too much bc of how slow he is.

I was wondering if anyone out there has a combo deck version of him Doomsday or not or has any ramp suggestions to help with the brew? Maybe some weird interactions to include.

I'm aiming for high B3/ low B4 as that's what my store plays.

Tl;dr: I need a non-turbo, non-landfall gameplan for Meloku until I draw my wincons

Full text:

So, I've been wanting to build a lower to the ground combo deck for a while, because it fascinates me. I got an old and stable playgroup so brackets and all that is pretty irrelevant (mentioning that because even though the deck would be B4 it's still pretty weak)

For now I've got my eyes on [[Meloku]], becuase he has some pretty cool lines that require 3 pieces each:

...

First one would be infinite turns using [[Time Warp]] and [[Mystic Sanctum]] with Meloku:

1. Play Mystic Sanctum targeting Time Warp
2. Cast Time warp
3. Return Sanctum to your hand with Meloku and repeat next turn
4. Deck yourself with Labman or something, idk

...

The second combo would be infinite Flyers with [[Retreat to Coralheim]] and [[Walking Atlas]] with Meloku:

1. Put a land on the field using Walking Atlas
2. Untap Walking Atlas with Retreat to Coralheim
3. Return the land to your hand with Meloku and repeat infinitely
4. Swing in with a million flying Illusions

...

While all this seems cool and all I simply have no idea what gameplan I would run up until this point. I'm thinking about utilizing the flyers with [[Coastal Piracy]] effects to draw into my wincons right now, while running some decent control. I'd prefer to avoid turbo because... it's just not what I'm looking for

Does anyone have any (non-landfall, because that would suck ass in mono U) gameplan suggestions for such a gameplan?

I'm working on Abzan aggro led by Doran, Besieged by Time, and there's this one class of effect that I can't figure out how to search for even with my knowledge of scryfall syntax, Boolean logic, and (a little bit of) regex.

Examples of what I'm talking about: Sovereign Okinec Ahau is easily the best one, since his ability ("for each creature you control with power greater than that creature’s base power, put a number of +1/+1 counters on that creature equal to the difference") triggers whenever he attacks and can be stacked to resolve after Doran buffs are applied.

Power Fist is probably the next best one, but does nothing until the creature connects for damage (though the trample helps there).

Are there other effects like this, however janky, that I've overlooked?

*ETA: I'm also interested in effects that can let me cash in my temporarily giant boys for value (Greater Good, Feed the Pack, Jarad), but what I'm looking for here is something else.

I want to put together an Itzquinth deck based on reusing the etb to take out blockers and then swinging for big.

What are some ways I can buff his power while the etb is in the stack to make him shoot for more?

hey y’all, I got this Vihaan Goldwater deck that I treasure very much and want to revisit. Tbh I just wanted some feedback on the deck before I go and print it out, because I know it’s always better to get opinions on things instead of just having your own eyes look at something. As of right now, the deck wants to play vihaan by t3/4, make a fuck ton of treasures by t7 and then find a win by either combo or by beating face with the 3/3 bodies. My main concern with the deck is that the decks total mana value is 178, and I feel like it could be cut down a bit. This is my first time making a treasure deck, and I probably missed a bunch of hidden tech so If you guys have any suggestions please put them here. Just build this lil quirky guy as my 2nd deck rn.

I wanted a deck to fully escalate and focus onto card draw. It works very well and I manage to archive outdrawing myself, to win thanks to some card effects.

But my biggest 2 Bottle Necks that I have found out rn are:

- Have 30-60 Cards in Hand, but can't do much with them, besides playing 1-3 Cards per turn.

- Low Mana per turn, because of only 1 Land per turn. Thought about maybe playing more Manarocks or something, but unsure.

So my main Questions would be rn:

- Any ideas for Cards that need me to discard cards for lower Mana costs? So I can utilize my big hand more?

- Any ideas on how to build up more Mana per turn?

I want to make a sci fi themed commander deck. I’m loading it with spacecraft, robots, and space themed cards. Hoping to get it to B3 territory. It’s an artifact and proliferating deck but it feels a little clunky. The spacecraft are there for theme, board presence, and outlets to safely tap Kilo without risking him in combat.
