In May I’m going to a Electronic Music Festival to renew my vows with my wife. I lowkey wanna do a lore accurate walk to Las Vegas. Trust me I’m aware it’s 30 ish miles, at my regular 9-5 I range 14 - 18 ish miles. My thought is Night time would be the best time to walk since it’s in the desert, has anyone done this walk before? If so any recommendations?

322 locations discovered 236 quests completed 309,358 caps found Level 74 I don’t know what else to do anymore. I can’t die and all enemy are easy to kill. Xbox Series X.

The best reason why I should give you the code wins it!

I feel like that one guy from nippon. Edit: Nipton

I'm bored and this came to mind :)

How this will work:

In order to enter, just leave a comment with a number between 1 and 25,000. On Thursday (December 29) morning I will use random.org to pick a single random number. Whoever is closest to that number wins. They can then pick from the following 4 games, which will be sent through Steam:

• Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game

• Fallout 2: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game

• Fallout 3

• Fallout: New Vegas

After the first winner gets their game, i'll generate a new random number and whoever is closest to that new number wins, they will then pick from the remaining 3 games. That cycle continues until all 4 games have been given away. I considered just giving all 4 games to a single person, but doing it this way ensures that more people get something, even if it is more time consuming.

After a winner is picked, I will message you through Reddit. You will then have 24 hours to respond. If you don't, a new winner will be chosen.

Good luck, Vault Dwellers!

Edit: First number has been generated.... 17331. After the winner gets their game, i'll generate another number.

Edit: The second number has been generated.... 8315. After the winner gets their game, i'll generate the third number.

Edit: The third number has been generated... 22465. After the winner gets their game, i'll generate the final number.

Edit: The third winner didn't claim their prize in 24 hours, so a runner up will be selected using a new random number, which is 1527. Once the new winner gets their game, i'll generate the final number.

Post the city you want me to drawn in the appocolyptic retro-futurest art of fallout and if you get the most upvotes you could your city hand drawn by me! Not the greatest artist but I am fair so i could provably draw your city. Contest ends 03/10/18. Goodluck!

House or House?

I may have drastically overcompensated to secure the Champion slot, but hey..... War Never Changes. Drop your spots below. Happy Fall of Duty!

For anyone who happens to be interested, there is currently a writing competition being hosted on the Fallout wiki that's offering prizes to the winners.

It was only recently released, so applications are still being accepted for anyone who wants to join in:

You have a total of 7 days, after which I will evaluate the roast proposals in a way both men would approve of, by assigning them point values from 1 through 10 both here and on the House MD subreddit where the other part of this roast battle will take place. The results will therefore be posted-both here and on the House MD subreddit-exactly 7 days from now.

The House with the highest score will finally get the privilege of becoming the only true House, so if you wanna bring it home for Fallout you better come up with a good roast for the doctor with less respect for personal space than there are non-corrupt politicians in Shady Sands.

You may consider that me subjectively judging this makes me some kind of dictator. I, however, prefer the term "autocrat".

I'm sorry if it was done before, I'm new to the subreddit.

I wonder what you guys think of both games, since they are quite close to each other in many aspects. I'd also like to point out that I haven't played F3 yet, mostly because all the screenshots look so gloomy, but I adore New Vegas with all my heart.

Do any of you guys have any ideas for a unique, specialized suit of power armor? If so, what is your idea? What would it look like, it's stats, and any special properties be? The top five most interesting and popular ideas/concepts will be featured, with proper crediting and the creators' permission, in a power armor mashup mod for Fo4's Nexus mod marketplace. May the games begin!

Almost everyday on Xbox you can stop down and search for the hidden vendor in one of the many shelters for rare and fun rewards.

Comment and I’ll choose someone in the coming hours

We both love Fallout and Mothman, but I dont know what to get. The most upvoted comment gets a customized drawing.

Hello! I have heard a ton of stuff about Fallout new Vegas, about Fallout 4 and Fallout 3 However when I tried the games back in 2018-19 I found them kinda boring and I honestly felt lost as hell.

Right now I want to play one of those three games, Even tho I thought it was boring Fallout 3 caught my eye with the cover, and the trailer so I would be Down to play it again. But is it worth it or should I play New Vegas?

Thanks for the advise :)

Hello Reddit! I'm searching for a voice actor that can record themselves reading from a script in the tone and likeness of Ron Perlman. By that, I mean read it as if it were an actual Fallout intro cut scene. The reason why I want this is because my friends and I are doing a D&D-like Fallout campaign, and we wish to make it feel as authentic as possible. As promised in the title, the author of the submission I choose to be the one we use for the campaign intro will be rewarded with a 20 Dollar Steam gift card. Below is the script that I'd like to be read and recorded, and the requirements for the recording. Feel free to modify the word choice as you see fit, however please if you do choose to modify the script, please keep the locations and names the same, as they are all crucial to the campaign's plot.

War, <short pause> war never changes.

Since the Bronze Age, war has been mankind's universal solution to conflict. The first recorded war in history was between the nations of Sumer and Elam in 2700 B.C.E., over the settlement of envied land. The ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia were constantly threatened by the chaos of warring kingdoms. Soon, more reasons for war would be introduced. Religion and politics would kill more than ever before. Many scholars would hope for an armageddon to end the need for war. But they would soon learn that war, <short pause> war never changes.

200 years after the great atomic war of 2077, the world has finally begun to recover from its last encounter with war. The end of humanity as we know it has been prolonged, thanks to the events of the past two centuries. The Forced Evolutionary Virus (FEV), has been eradicated for good, and clean drinking water is distributed to all from the Brotherhood of Steel in the Capital Wasteland. Because of this, civilization has been able to rebuild itself. Soon, mankind will be strong enough to wage war once again...

In the barren valleys of New Mexico, the NCR and remnants of a once influential organization, calling themselves the Populus, butt heads over control of the Rio Grande river, and the settlements surrounding it. Their stirring has caused a great deal of trouble in the New Mexico territories, and the local inhabitants are becoming worrisome.

This is where you come in. You are a resident of Vault 121, one of the very few in New Mexico. Before you were born, the door to Vault 121 mysteriously opened, and refused to shut, making the inhabitants of the Vault completely vulnerable to the dangers of the wastes. However, instead of panicking, the dwellers of Vault 121 made due with the strange phenomenon, and began coexisting with the outside world. Today, Vault 121 is the largest trading hub in the Rio Grande commonwealth. Everything that has happened thus far for Vault 121 has been smooth. However, life in the Vault is about to change.

--REQUIREMENTS--

A microphone of decent or better quality is preferred, but not necessarily required. As long as the audio doesn't clip, any quality is ok.

Nothing other than the recording of your voice is necessary for submission. However, you are welcome to have your own creative liberties (background ambiance, music, etc.).

Please send submissions to halb1rd#2281 on Discord. I will reply to you as soon as possible.

No time limit. I will choose a winner when I find a submission that I feel fits best with what I'm looking for.

Thank you for reading!
