The death of social activist Pervez Parwaz occurred some day in Gorakhpur Jail.
Pervez Parwaz has been continuously protesting Yogi Adityanath's communal actions since 2007, as a result of which cases were also filed against Yogi, due to which Pervez Parwaz always remained in Yogi's crosshairs. Yogi Adityanath conspired against him by getting his own people to file false cases, as a result of which he had been imprisoned in Gorakhpur District Jail since 2018.
Pervez Parwaz's death while in jail does not seem natural he was already suffering from sickness and he was made to die a painful lonely death
How many muslim community know about him ? Ask yourself
How many did post about him ? Meanwhile muslim have all the time to post for CJP dipke and others
When Parvez filed case it was during Samajwadi Party rule
Not only so called Secular party shielded Yogi but turned a blind eye to Parvez arrest
This is the humiliation of UP muslim that had to vote for such Secular party who don't even protect minority rights and leave them to die
Yogi hateful speech is still online available where he said "100 muslim girls shall be kidnapped in revenge"
Yet Indian police and our so called law order of secular constitution did nothing
If we as muslim community don't stand up for those fellow activist or show moral support on social media i don't think anyone else will cause neither our Secular political parties care nor majority hindus do Infact Yogi went on to get majority vote and became CM by hindus while Biswa and others compete who can give more bloodthirsty genocidal calls
I will still firmly say this biggest lie told to muslim is indian law is same for all or constitution is for all or India is Secular country Wake up to reality in nowhere in secular country leader gives genocidal calls and gets vote cheering lynching gets support by police and garlanded muslim gets killed for being muslim and doesn't even get justice
The sad reality is i came to know about this case through a Foreign infouncer https://x.com/ragebait_krungi/status/2110229714732478930?s=2

Any Muslim youth going to garba, male or female is doing harm to their people and their imaan. Garba is shirk, and a Hindu festival done to celebrate their Gods. Any Muslim going there to celebrate it is not only putting their imaan at risk but their community as well.
Why are they engaging in activities that lead harm to their community? Now whenever they want a scapegoat they’ll point at these haramis and mention how they go to garba and such just to flirt with Hindu women.
All of our ulema and imams should release statements urging Muslims not to engage in it, any that do should be advised and reported to their parents, and find a halal outlet. Go play football, cricket etc

Excerpt from Ibrahim Dewla’s speeches and notes.
It’s not that we start envying others.
Envy is a satanic trait.
Satan envied Adam (as) because Allah honoured him and granted him special status. So he failed to appreciate Adam (as) and became his enemy, disobedient to Allah.
Due to this, he was given the trait of envy.
He wasn’t given the trait of empathy. Those who are sincere empathize. Who empathizes? Those who are sincere.
For example, parents have goodwill towards their children. Even when a child is disobedient, they are concerned. They pray and keep turning to Allah, “O Allah, make my child good. O Allah, guide my child.”
Why? Because parents are compassionate toward their children.
So, the religion teaches empathy for others. Be compassionate; want good for others.
The Prophet (saw) said, “The religion is sincere goodwill.”
(Muslim 55)
What is religion? One wants good for others.

Looking to connect with Muslims around my age who are genuinely trying to learn and understand Islam better.

I’d love to make some Indian Muslim friends, preferably girls, and have meaningful conversations about our experiences growing up in different societies. I’m especially curious about what it’s like to grow up as a Muslim in a secular country, and I’d love to share my own experiences as well I think it would be really interesting to exchange perspectives, learn from each other, and understand how our different environments shape our identities, cultures, and ways of seeing the world 🌷

I’ve been in IT for over a decade and currently hold a Senior Manager position at a very large Fortune 500 company. At the peak of hiring, I was taking around two dozen interviews a week. Guess how many resumes I received from Muslim candidates? Less than 5%. If I interviewed 50 people, I’d barely get 2 Muslim candidates.
I know 2026 isn’t the best time to talk about the IT industry, but let’s look at history. The Indian IT boom pulled millions out of poverty. India is not a manufacturing country. All the money sits in services. The salaries in Indian IT were unimaginable. Take my friend who did mechanical engineering and works in a manufacturing company. After decades of experience, he earns 18 LPA — something a fresher from a Tier-2 or Tier-3 engineering college used to get in campus placements from US IT GCCs. Remember, all the Indian CEOs from Pichai to Nadella made it big because of this IT boom.
Imagine how easy it was. Study engineering for 4 years, practice some LeetCode, and get a job offer ranging from 4 LPA to 48 LPA as a fresher depending on your skills. The best ones are earning above 2 crore per year in India. IT experience was also your visa to escape to a first-world country. USA, Canada, France, Dubai — with IT talent, you could move almost anywhere. Between 2016 and 2022, 7 lakh Indian IT professionals moved to the USA on H1B, and 99% of them were non-Muslim. What a waste of opportunity for Indian Muslim youth. I’m one of the culprits — I got a chance for an L1 and to move to the USA in 2019, but I declined. I regret it. At that time, I couldn’t predict the political situation in the country. If you earn properly in the USA for 10–15 years and save smartly, you can retire in India and live like a king. That was one of the many ways Muslims could have escaped generational poverty.
So where did Muslims go wrong? It’s not that Muslims are lazy. Mostly, they’re clueless. Here’s one instance I’m proud of. In 2021, I helped one Muslim escape generational poverty. We both graduated from the same state government college where fees were very low. His father was an electrician, so he needed a job urgently. Since he wasn’t from Computer Science, I and a friend guided him, gave him Udemy courses to learn coding, and made him build projects. He stayed with us. We covered all his expenses for 6 months and bought him a good laptop, which he agreed to pay back once he got a good job. Our target was a 12 LPA job. After offers and counter-offers, he landed his first job at 10.5 LPA. Now, Insha’Allah, he works at a very good IT firm, earns well enough to help his parents, brothers, and sisters, and has already paid back more than what we spent on him out of gratitude.
Before 2010 or 2012, most Muslim parents from lower-middle class to even middle class treated education as secondary. In my engineering college, there were hardly 10 Muslims among 410 students in each batch. Another major culprit was Muslim leaders elected from both Congress and non-Congress parties who never focused on guidance and education. Most Muslims who did pursue education went for non-science or non-engineering subjects. Some tried for government jobs, while others ended up in the informal sector. The education level among Muslim women is so dangerously low that I don’t even want to talk about it.
Now, what to do in 2026 and beyond? Let’s talk about the hurdles. Getting into a government engineering college is an uphill battle for Muslims because most of us are general category and can’t afford expensive coaching. So here’s my advice:
Again I am not talking about Medical field because again we are talking about poor muslims and coaching is expensive. If there is free coaching program then very good one can get there. But again competition is cut throat and no reservation for muslim.
If you can afford engineering, go for it. Choose branches like Computer Science, AI, Electrical, or Electronics. Avoid Mechanical and Civil unless you’ve decided to go for a government job — which, as of 2026, I would advise against because the competition is cut-throat and most Muslims have no reservation. Only consider that option if you genuinely hate coding or anything computer-related.
If you can’t afford engineering, go for the BCA + MCA route. This is the cheapest way to enter the IT industry. Most IT jobs are skill-based, and your degree won’t be a bottleneck in most smaller companies and startups. You can even do BCA and MCA through distance learning, but you must build real skills.
As of 2026, there’s a bloodbath in the IT market. Most jobs have disappeared, but there’s still hope. If you’re an experienced IT professional, good news: general full-stack software engineers are still in demand. A lot of GCCs are moving to India, especially in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, and demand is still there. Polish your resume and, if possible, have some projects to show.
If you’re a fresher, build your skills around Generative AI and Agentic Development. You can find a lot of free resources online, especially on YouTube. Learn to build chatbots and RAG systems, and create a GitHub profile where you can showcase your work. DSA is still required in interviews. Practice the 150 NeetCode LeetCode questions: https://neetcode.io/practice/practice/neetcode150
Don’t stay still. Keep networking. Build projects and show your work. These days, companies give free AI tools — use ChatGPT, Gemini, Mistral, DeepSeek, Qwen, etc. These tools are fully free. Utilize them.
Muslim youth need to build a hardworking, hustling culture. It is foolish for us to think about becoming Pichais and Nadellas right now when most of the population is still uneducated and stuck in the informal sector. But at least we can try to escape generational poverty first.
Yes IT is not a just a single way to earn money but believe me IT IS THE MOST EASIEST WAY TO ACCUMULATE WEALTH for anyone interested in computer science or technology. No manual labour and no working in scroching humid heat. Sit in AC and use your brain. Yes work can be hectic but managable.
And yes you will face a fair share of discrimination as most business in india or even in UAE is owned by GJM community. Dont loose your hope. Keep trying
If you are a rich Muslim, do your part. Try to form a community nearby and give them guidance.

For example, the electoral method we use is FPTP(First Past The Post) system, in which the country is divided into constituencies and whichever candidate gets the highest votes in a particular constituency is declared the winner. And whichever party/alliance has the most candidates forms the government.
Meanwhile in another system called the Proportional representation system which is used in a lot of European countries, there are no constituencies and the parties get allotted seats based on the percentage of votes they receive from the entire country.
In the latter system if the entire Muslim population of undivided India which for example let's say is 35% and they all vote for a specific party, that party will be allotted 35% of seats in the Parliament. So this electoral method gives better protection to the minorities.
The parties like AIMIM can actually be national level parties in the latter system.

Today, Supreme Court of india has given signs of removing Muslim OBC status. Previously, same thing was tried to be done with SC/ST status. SC status is already removed. Reason given is there is no untouchability in Islam. Argument is there is no untouchability in Sikhism, Buddhism but their status iss retained.

Salam. So a few days ago, I posted that my father has a small scrap business, so shall I help him or prepare for forest services. There were mixed suggestions. I decided to listen to my heart
I have decided to prepare because it's my dream job, I really don't like this business much, it would be my last resort.
I have always loved to be in nature, during my college days also, I would visit national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, etc. Never went to cinemas and clubs
I am already 28 (male), and my parents are requesting me to get married but when it comes to career and marriage, I would always choose career. I just want to get into forest services
Thank you everyone who gave me suggestions, it really means a lot

This is an uncomfortable topic because some people would rather not admit what they’ve already noticed. It’s easier to believe that the other group doesn’t hate you, so we explain away the signs. I’m hoping to talk with people willing to look at this honestly.
This didn’t start in 2014. Anyone who grew up in India before the current ruling party came to power can probably relate. In my view, the hostility didn’t begin then. It just became more visible.
Is it Islamophobia, or something else? After 9/11, much of the hostility toward Muslims in America could reasonably be called Islamophobia: fear fueled by unfamiliarity and media narratives. But Hindus and Muslims have lived side by side in India for centuries. I find it hard to believe all of this is simply media influence, especially in a country where people are so skeptical of authority and institutions. Propaganda works best when it confirms what people already want to believe.
What I’ve personally noticed, Beyond the usual T£rror!sm related taunts, I’ve often heard remarks aimed at Islam itself, at our beliefs, practices, and religion, not just at Muslims as people not to mention that joke is on them but these are hypocrites we are talking about. Many of the people making them try hard not to show it, but in the middle of a taunt or an argument, it slips out that their problem goes deeper than politics or news headlines.
Take the hijab. Nobody is afraid of a scarf. The contempt some people show toward women who wear it doesn’t look like fear of terrorism or unfamiliarity to me. It looks like a dislike of a visible expression of Islam. If the concern were really about choice, it wouldn’t show up as pressure to take it off, or as bans that take the choice away from women who want to wear it. I can’t read anyone’s heart, but that explanation doesn’t match what I’ve seen. That and Ofcourse many such instances besides that what makes me think it isn’t only fear or prejudice, but resentment toward the religion itself. I’m speaking from my own experience, and I know others may have seen it differently. A small everyday example: In the US, my family and I can pray quietly in an isolated corner of a park without anyone staring or reacting. In India, people often look at you as if you’re committing a crime. They may not confront you directly, but you’ll get condescending remarks or unsolicited lectures about what you’re doing. I also think about Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:82, which describes the Jews and polytheists as among the most hostile toward believers, and Christians as among the most gracious.
P.S:- I’ve lived in the USA for 23 years. In all that time, I’ve never experienced the kind of prejudice toward myself or my family that I’ve experienced in India. What i see in India isn’t phobia rather it’s genuine hostility.

Hi Assalamualaikum everyone,
I finally settled my mind to get myself a kitten after finding myself in love with my friend’s calico kitten. But the thing is our Prophet ﷺ has prohibited to buy or sell kitten I think, is this true? Then I cannot buy a breed I want unless someone is giving them away. Could you please advise me on this?
Thanks!
