Do you condemn the Haitian Revolution? Or do you believe the slaves of Haiti should have remained slaves and colonial subjects of the French until they could somehow guarantee a "perfect" revolution in which zero innocents die?

Even pre WW2, this was the case.

Example— the Khilafat Movements, where British politicians accused Khilafat leaders and their volunteers of spreading violent agitation.

And who is killing innocents, that you have to write a comment here?

I don't know a lot of the politics and history, but in Islam killing an innocent is a sin, regardless of the justifications one may come up with. "The end justifies the means" is anti-Islamic.

This isn't directed at Hamas, it's just a reminder of something that we need to remember as Muslims.

As an African, I have no problem with this comparison.

Almost all post-WW2 independence organizations were "violent" btw, especially massacres of people from the colonial countries. You can see how they slaughtered the Dutch in Indonesia, the Portuguese in Angola, the Belgian in Congo, etc. You can't get independence just by protesting or asking politely every year to parliament, you need to take up arms, especially if your colonizers have been slaughtering your people for years and are against peace negotiations.

giving answers to fikh questions that were asked just for the reason to ask a question, it turns things to a sport, jws were doing the same thing back then, they were asking specific things and Allah made rulings even stricter for them, The Baqara incident is an example (The Cow) "فذبحوها و ما كاذوا يفعلون"

Is it relevant to mention the fact that They’re (Jordan) still allied with them a century later (although now it’s with the US & Israel)?

Thinking about it— most of the alliances we’ve read about in the early 20th century has some kind of similar parallel today… basically nothing has really changed.

It was not the Saudis that joined the british against the ottomons, it was the Hashemites (the current rulers of Jordan)

They already do? Not in the west but traditional men's garb in the Arab word includes long, loose robes as well as head covers. Modesty is a virtue for both genders
