I currently have a new PC and I have been dying to use it! Small little problem, though. The monitors do not work. When plugged in, they initially start out white and for a brief moment show the No Signal message. Before I can do anything beyond that, it immediately shuts itself off and shows a orange light. I have done basically everything I can think of. The wire fits in my PC fine so I have no idea what is the issue. Any help appreciated!

I wanted to share my experience with MSI because this has become one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. I'm hoping to get some advice from others who have dealt with MSI, and I believe this situation deserves public attention.
I purchased an MSI MAG 321UPX 4K OLED monitor, and what followed has been an ongoing nightmare.
Here's the timeline:
Original monitor failure
The monitor developed a no-display issue. I went through MSI's RMA process to get it resolved.
First RMA
The replacement I received was dead on arrival.
Second RMA
I continued having monitor issues, including lines appearing across the screen.
Third RMA
The monitor was shipped back to me in a box with almost no protective packaging. When it arrived, the corners were bent from shipping damage. The monitor stand was also missing.
I was pretty upset from this so I accelerated the level of concern and was told they would make an exception and replace with a new monitor. (Not refurbished)
This is where things got even more frustrating.
I contacted MSI and explained what had happened. They wanted me to send the monitor back again. Even though it was already damaged.
I was understandably concerned about using the same packaging that had already failed to protect the monitor. I specifically raised the concern that if I shipped it back using that packaging and it was damaged again, MSI might blame me for improper packaging.
MSI initially discussed sending me a proper box, but ultimately told me I could ship the monitor back using the same packaging it had arrived in.
I explained that I was willing to cooperate, but I wanted assurance that I would not be held responsible for shipping damage caused by packaging MSI had provided and instructed me to use.
Now, MSI is blaming me for the damage and telling me my warranty is no longer covered.
After multiple RMAs, an exception replacement agreement, a monitor returned with bent corners and a missing stand, and my concerns about the packaging, I'm now being told that my warranty coverage is gone.
I have tried to work with MSI throughout this process. I wasn't refusing to return the monitor. I was asking how I could safely return it without being blamed for damage caused by inadequate packaging.
I feel like I did everything I reasonably could to protect myself, and I'm still the one being left with a damaged monitor and no warranty coverage.
I'm asking MSI to honor the replacement they previously agreed to provide and resolve this situation fairly.
Has anyone else experienced something similar with MSI? Were you able to get a warranty denial reversed or get a case escalated beyond standard customer support?
At this point, I just want MSI to stand behind its product and resolve the issue it agreed to resolve in the first place.

my sister recently got an msi gaming laptop and had a secure boot issue, it won’t let you click anything at all when you go into the window, you can’t change any setting, I’m not sure what to do to fix this cause I’m not that tech savy, I’ve had one of these for a year or two and it’s never happened to me so any help would be appreciated.

I have an MSI PRO B860M-A motherboard. TFM 2.0 is working and enabled as well as secure boot. I also have updated my BIOS to the most recent version. However when I run the COD Secure Attestation program it tells me that a New Key Generation is required or BIOS Firmware update is recommended. I select the Generate Key option and it fails but wont tell me why. And I already have updated my BIOS. There is no way to actually contact activision support other then sending them a diagnostic which I've done. What am I supposed to do?

Does using them together provide double protection, or is it just a total waste of money?

Hey guys,
I’ve been trying to update my bios for a while now, but every download I put onto my formatted usb doesn’t appear when I try to update in the bios section (pics for reference). I’ve tried all sorts, exporting them. Only putting in the file needed, renaming, anything you can imagine. I’ve got the correct software for the update as well, it just will not appear on the usb drive. I’ve tried updating and downgrading, no luck at all. What am I doing wrong? I’ve attached pics of my motherboard, current bios, and the file not being in the folder.
Thanks in advance!

My Headset registeres as a speaker. I cannot use my mic. A solution I have found is "To configure Realtek Audio Console for a headset, open the application and select Device advanced settings from the left-hand menu".
But my MSI Realtek Audio Console does not have that option. I tried to deinstall the drivers and install the driver from MSI website, problems remains.
see picture
I am at my wits and and would be grateful for help.

Can somebody help me figure out what's going on with mine? I've tried many procedures including taking CMOS off for 10 minutes, leaving RAM slot only on A2, formatting drive with Rufus, double checked the pins and they're put tight enough, renamed file to MSI.ROM (many many times and still don't work, RAAAAAHH). Please anyone? Im so desperate rn
My components are PRO MSI Z790-A motherboard, Intel i7-14700K, i don't think the rest of components are relevant but if it happens to be I'll tell you the other components.

Hello everyone. I'm insanely new in a world of computer building since I got job that allows me to pay for computer parts quite recently. I bought MSI b840 gaming plus Wi-Fi and built PC for it, I have Ryzen 8400F and DDR5 Kingston Fury Beast. But I have a problem - specifics of my job requires me constantly using Wi-Fi and bluetooth that's why I bought B840 since it has on-board modules but when I built everything and booted my computer nothing has changed. I still depend on my old Wi-Fi antenna since for whatever reason New one doesnt work and bluetooth feature in my computer just straight up doesnt work anymore - with or without my old BT Dongle. Support told me to clear CMOS turn off and on on-board modules in BIOS, download latest drivers but it didn't help. Do I have to have Windows 11 instead of 10 for these modules to work or something? Bc official website has more drivers for this OS rather than W10.

Hi everyone,
Like many of you, I’m running a powerful MSI machine — specifically the MSI Vector 16 HX AI A2XWHG — but the software experience is severely held back by MSI Center. It’s bloated, slow, heavy on background processes, and constantly re-installs unnecessary SDK components just to change basic fan curves or power profiles.
ASUS users have G-Helper and Lenovo users have Legion Toolkit — lightweight, single-executable open-source apps that run in the background taking virtually 0% CPU and a few MBs of RAM, while giving total control over fan curves, MUX switches, and power limits. MSI desperately needs something identical.
Since MSI isn’t going to rewrite their software anytime soon, I’m calling on the community or any developers here who have access to Claude Pro (or advanced coding models): Can we collaborate to build a lightweight, debloated MSI Center replacement?
Ideally, this tool should be modular enough to support most modern MSI laptops, but as a starting point, it should fully support 2024/2025 high-end models like the MSI Vector 16 HX AI series (and similar Raider / Stealth / GP platforms).
If anyone with C# / C++ knowledge or experience with EC (Embedded Controller) fan control on MSI laptops is interested in starting a GitHub repo, AI tools like Claude Pro can speed up scaffolding and writing API wrappers significantly.

Hey all. Just finished a new bulld and have run in to a problem.
9800X3D on an MSI X870E Carbon Wifi
Everything was fine, system was running and had just updated the BIOS to the newest version from MSI's website. After the update/reboot, I turned on EXPO1 and rebooted again. Back to the BIOS and all was good.
I noticed some "Game Mode" was turned on in the EZ selection, or above it, and clicked the giant icon to turn it off (as it was off previously). As soon as I did, the system shut off with only the RAM RGB glowing.
Now the system won't boot at all. As soon as I try, RAM RGB glows, fans spin for just a moment, then just RAM glow.. no fans or anything.
I've done everything I know to do at this point: held the reset CMOS button to no avail, pulled the CMOS battery out for about 20 minutes.. still the same.
Any ideas? I also did the whole push and/or hold the power button during this to drain residual electricity.
Only thing I can think of at this point is to maybe try flashing the BIOS if it can be done without the system being powered on. The motherboard does have power as the little power button inside glows.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: flashback failed; the system went to power up and only flickered for a second and stopped. The USB drive stopped blinking also. I'm beginning to think the CPU or motherboard fried.

Upgraded CPU from 5600g to 5800x3D. Also upgraded GPU and PSU.
I updated BIOS to latest version 7C95v2P2 to make it compatible with the new CPU. My motherboard is MSI B550M PRO-VDH.
RAM used to run at 3200 MHz but now it's stuck at 2400 MHz. I remember that when I build this PC I had to go into BIOS settings and enable XMP, but not I can't make it work again. There's no option that I can see to enable XMP.
I tried "forcing" 3200 MHz by changing "DRAM Frequency" in the Advanced OC Settings from "Auto" to "DDR4 3200MHz" but that made games crash after only a few minutes of playing, and sometimes even my PC.
So... what gives? How can I solve this?
Thanks!

I am looking at buying my first handheld console. I'm a ps5 player as my main set up but would like a handheld for travelling etc. I can't decide between the Claw a8 and legion go s steamos z1 extreme (seems to be the most console like experience which is appealing) both are roughly the same price. I like the idea of the claw because of more power / better for aaa games / better battery life, I'm wondering how hard the claw is to set up / run for someone with no pc gaming experience, I use a computer daily for work but no experience with downloading drivers and optimisation settings for games and things like that.
My question is will I just be overwhelmed with the software requirements. Don't want to have to spend half the time I want to play on youtube trying to fix settings so my games run as best as they can. Or would I be better going for the legion?
Thanks for any help you can give me!

I recently upgraded my desk monitor to the MSI MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36. One of the main sells for getting this monitor is was the built-in KVM, so I could connect to my laptop with a single cable. Overall, things have been great, but I started running into this issue with keyboard/mouse connection stability where the keyboard and mouse would be unresponsive for a few seconds before working again.
My setup as follows:
The keyboard/mouse never fully disconnected, but input would randomly stop for a couple of seconds before resuming. This only ever happened over the USB-C connection, not the desktop input, so I suspected the issue lied with the USB-C portion of the KVM. I tried:
whatcable to verify that the cable was properly specced to deliver data, power, and displaySaw a couple of posts from others about issues related to AI Care Sensor (see: MSI Forum - AI Care Sensor and USB Power Cycling Issues). The actual thing that seems to have stopped the issue from occurring is disabling AI Care Sensor.
My guess is that there is an firmware issue with the KVM trying to handle input switching, power delivery, and the presence sensor at the same time. May do some more testing to see if the Auto Scan setting also affects this, or whether it's only one of the AI Care Sensor settings; will come back with updates if I find anything.

Hi everyone, with some help from AI I wrote a tool that makes the MSI HMI 2.0 front display work on Linux, without MSI Center.
It supports the panel’s native menus and can also show your own content: system stats, FPS screen while gaming, weather, music playing with its album cover, or any layout you design in a JSON file. There are some builtin themes.
It runs as a small systemd service and is open source.
