I dont know where youre at, but in most big chains, they have two windows now. The first one takes your money, they are always ready by the time you pull up. The second, where you get your food, basically ignores you. 😂
Did you miss where I said expedite? I worked it 20 years ago as part of my duties; it's nothing new. I noticed that, unlike me, my coworkers and people at other companies didn't make it a point to greet the customer as soon as they pulled up.
Calm your tits dude. Expedite may be an industry term for that window. Or maybe its what they call it in your home country. But the average consumer only refers to it as the "first" window or the "pay" window. However, your question was essentially have you ever had the person waiting for you and my answer addressed that. Yes, the "first" window is usually ready for me.
There's no need for me to be calm, as I'm already calm. You're the one acting like I'm clueless; I merely pointed out you were wrong to assume that since I had all the information out in the original post.
wait what? I'm sure its happened, but I can't remember the last time there wasn't a person at the window when I pulled up.
Actually, yes I can. Burger King, March 2026, Pittsburgh. That location sucks ass. But every wendy's, mcdonald's, arby's, etc. fast food place besides BK has had people at the windows every single time, no matter where I have been in the US.
