I don’t mean to be a total weirdo even though I am being one.

Two months ago you made a post about your fiancé and you moving to California because she got a once in a lifetime job opportunity. Then now you’re saying you recently started dating someone. Did you and your fiancé end things?

We did.

Edit: for more context since people are replying that they are sorry:

  1. You did see what

    I

  2. posted above right? I’m pretty happy at the moment lol.

  3. We actually split on really good terms. By the end we were more like really good friends. Been together for 8 years, engaged for a little over 4, and the spark just wasn’t there for either of us anymore for a long time.

So we both saw this as a great opportunity to part ways without causing too much of a mess.

Honestly so far it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

She’s happy, I’m happy, what more could you ask for?

Everyone is saying sorry, but was going to say good for you! Sounds like you made the right choice instead of forcing something that didn't work out.

That's great to hear. I'm going through my own thing with my marriage hoping it all works out as well as yours.
