Meme Rage Bait

Back in the day everyone used to call this trolling and now everyone calls it rage bait, it's like the concept of trolling was reinvented by the new generations but it's called rage baiting now lol.

What is your favorite cartoon now?

I was a big fan of Pokemon like other 90s kids.

The cartoon like watching the most now is Rick and Morty since it’s hilarious AF.

Nostalgia Do you still like physical media - playstation still getting rid of disc

Post image
• Upvotes

I still remember people was against mp3 players… and buying 1 song or a cd off itunes was crazy because there no disc and now look at us.. all the music you can hear from

Spotify or whatever music stream you listen to

I was with ps1 to ps4… couldn’t get a ps5 so i built my own pc and never looked back, I even got a handheld pc (onexplayer3) to play at work, chill in my bed & even when i poop.

Little me would be amazed to have snes all the way to switch emulation while also playing steam and triple aaa games like demon souls and elden ring while at work in the palm of my hands.

I do miss physical media but i have so much old games from snes,n64 to ps1,2,3 and 4 lol.

I even have old bix box collectors edition on pc for wow, diablo, starcraft. I even bought this huge fallout 4 pip box edition, destiny 1 & 2 collector edition and overwatch collector edition on pc back in the day

Good times man, wish i can get a physical copy of the game… i did buy dead space 1,2,3 on steam sale and i still have my

Ps3 copt of dead space 1.

Discussion When did Eminem fall off musically for you?

Post image
0 Upvotes

As Millennials there was no bigger artist in the late 90's and early 2000's than Eminem. While most can't deny his first three albums...some say his downfall was Encore....some say it was Relapse....some say it was after Recovery.

I'm curious to hear from non Eminem hardcore fans on this.

Personally, I knew he was losing it on Encore (some real bad songs and even the good one's didn't have the same spark) but enjoyed parts of Relapse and Recovery. After that I just didn't enjoy the music anymore. It's like he gave up making good songs to just prove how technical and fast he could rap and it made the music suffer.

Discussion Is 2 babies a good # or is it 3?

I recently posted that I became a mom at 30 then second at 35. Now I’m 37. Husband will be 39. I go back and forth about a 3rd baby and he’s open to the idea.

I read so many things as well as hear how 2 is the best number because when 3 someone is always left out.

But I also feel that I will regret not having a third especially due to all the back and forth. I purposely had my kids years a part. To make things easier and to enjoy them and different stages in life. Oh and cars too haha. Once I’m done paying off one car, my second is ready to drive.

I want to start trying -if i do- at 38.5/39 so that I’m 40 :) the year I deliver. To me, kids keep your youth, as in They keep you busy and active.

How many kids do you have. Should we go for 3? Should we stay at 2?

Do you have any regrets not having 3? Any input on both number of kids.

If you’re a second or third kid in your family. What are your thoughts on this? How did you feel growing up or looking back as an adult.

Discussion What’s your normal weekday like?

For those of us who have a family and a regular 9-5 (meaning you’re in the office 40 hours a week).
Commute?
Family time?
Cooking? Cleaning? Housework?
Household maintenance?
How much does your partner do? Is it an even split?
Recreation?
Have you ever actually calculated all the time?

Discussion So many millennial guys are turning into their dads when it comes to fashion

I remember a lot of guys that were young in the 80s/90s continued to wear the same style well into the 2000s/2010s and would get crap from their kids and others about looking outdated and dorky. Their style had become the "dad" style. Fast forward to 2026 and so many of those same kids are now 40 and still dressing like it's 2010. Women don't really have this issue. Guys in their teens and 20s really don't either. Just like it was 20+ years ago, it's guys in their 30s and 40s predominantly. Funny to see the exact cycle play out again. Their style has become the new dad style lol.

Edit: guys you know what I'm talking about, the low rise slim jeans, graphic tees, cargo shorts, v necks.
People are getting confused by my post. I don't mean you currently are dressing like your dad does now or how your dad used to dress. I mean you're still dressing the same way you did 15+ years ago, just like your dad did the same thing back in the day

Discussion Anyone find it interesting how Millennial is the term we use when at times in the past we were called Gen Y in textbooks?

I sometimes think about my education classes in college around 2013 and how one of the first education textbooks I read called people born between around 1981-1996 Generation Y because it came right after Generation X. Then in just maybe within a couple of years every book and online source said Millennial only and didn’t use Gen Y at all because society and researchers made millennial the more popular cultural term 😅. Don’t know how it would really change much other than me wanting to say I’m Gen Y cause we’re all wondering whY we’ve had to deal with so much crap for decades and I’ve had the question whY in my brain looking at the news 24/7 but just a lil thought that came to mind recently 😬

Discussion Can’t we have a reset point after a century?

I was just wondering can’t we keep it like a game. Like reset the whole wealth game after a century & remember top players, all the players can get an equal opportunity, rn it’s more like h*ckers vs noobs someone got a billion dollar right after getting born & someone js craving for a piece of bread.

What do you think guyz? I was just bored so I dropped my opinion :D

Nostalgia “Who sings that?” “Yea- leave it to them”

You remember this corny over used line? It’s been lost. The youth don’t know.

If they’re singing something at all, especially if poorly

Step 1) mock them for it

2) continue to mock them

3) “come clean” and admit you’re joking

4) ask who the song is by

5) drop the “why don’t you let them sing it?” Line

6) ????

7) profit

Serious I saw an aging Tom Green on my feed, prepared myself to laugh, and cried instead.

• Upvotes

I haven't seen the guy anywhere since he was terrorizing his parents and putting his "bum on the sweeeeeedish" in the late 90s/early 2000s. I watched this newer video the other day, recording himself on his phone, trying to learn vert skateboarding for a new TV show, and instead of slapstick comedy, I was faced with my own freaking mortality. I've also recently dusted off my skateboard and i can feel it in my body. I'm not the same. I don't bounce back the same anymore. And watching this funny dude fall over on the ramp, out of breath, was hard to watch. I don't know if this is the right way to share FB videos on Reddit. But there ya go. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/17mxNK5ADM/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Discussion Do you remember knowing a rogue?

• Upvotes

The word rogue most commonly refers to a person, organization, or animal that acts independently, defies rules or authority, and often causes harm or behaves in an unpredictable way.

I feel like we had a lot of these. Usually, the end of the relationship wasn't good, because it wasn't healthy. Or unfortunately that person met an untimely end. Or disappeared; maybe they're even in prison now. The guy I'm thinking of disappeared and doesn't seem to want to be in contact with anyone anymore. He had manic episodes and was sometimes violent. But there was something intriguing about him.

They were like the lolcows but instead of being on youtube we had them in our life for better or for worse. 😂

Nostalgia How many of us were incepted into liking Genesis by Tarzan?

I got really into Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins in high school/college. I still remember the day when I realized Phil Collins was the Tarzan guy. It all clicked.
