Question Should I buy this game?
So hey, I noticed this game a while ago and it looked pretty fun and unique but I’m still questioning whether I should buy this game or not.
Would be thankful for anyone here who could tell me what is it about this game that makes you like it and why would you recommend it to somebody?
I like such games as Celeste, Hades, Stardew Valley, HK and Silksong. It’s basically just an indie list lol. I also heard there’s a shovel knight game from exact same team that worked on this game. Maybe I should dive in to this one first?

Question Does the games combat/perspective get better?
I like the game so far, am an hour and 30 minutes in, but I keep dying to a random mini boss enemy that basically just has one attack. I chose the hammer because I usually like slow heavy weapons, but hitting something with its special attack is a nightmare, the roll feels so weird and Mina has a tendency to look in the wrong direction when charging it.
But my main issue is honestly just the perspective, I had a lot of moments where I took damage or dealt damage despite being sure that nothing made contact with me or my weapon. This is especially bad when an enemy is right in front of you, its extremely difficult to judge depth in this game.
Is this something that gets better/I just get used to? Because if this is a constant I would just return the game, its already pretty annoying and I can only imagine how frustrating it will get later on

Opinion Enemy Tier List Spoiler
Ranked based on difficulty
If it is killable and isn’t a part of a boss, then it is eligible for this list.
I also excluded the fish because they are only accessible once you get the fishing rod, most can only fought once, and I don’t have enough experience on them to fairly rank them.

Opinion I have a lot of skill issues with this game.
So I got Mina at launch and still haven't done a full legitimate run.
For me the healing system is too confusing and counter productive too wrap my head around.
I don't get the spark system at all. (Found out some bosses have a limit to how many Sparks they can take)
Boss fights quickly devolve from me taking my time and picking my moments to hit to running around frantically while trying to heal.
I remember getting to the hulk trooper just outside of town when I started and being stuck on him for a bit. Until I grinded to level 5 attack and defense.
My question to the group is. Anyone else struggling to get through the game with out mods? Those who did beat the game with out mods was it enjoyable, if so what made the experience enjoyable?

Question Does Mina involve getting lost or not knowing what to do frequently?
So I've heard a lot of great things about this game, and while I haven't seen much gameplay, the little I have seen seems fun. But I do have a concern that makes me hesitant to actually get the game. Does the game involve getting lost/not knowing what to do a lot? I'm not sure based on the little I've seen of the game, and trying to google this gives me conflicting answers. But, I really do not enjoy getting lost and just having to walk around aimlessly for ages trying to figure out what I need to do at all, and there's been times before where I get a game that seems really fun, and almost is, but then it's too mazy or has too many confusing puzzles and I just end up not really being able to do anything in the game without searching things up constantly or getting bored of wandering around aimlessly. More specifically, I remember playing the Metroid Dread demo to see if it would be a good game, and it seemed really fun after playing that for two hours, but after getting the game, it turned out that after that point, the game becomes a confusing maze and I couldn't figure out where to go at all, even while looking at a guide, so I ended up not being able to play it. I've been kinda scared to get new games ever since lol.
To be a bit more clear, I don't mean that the game has to be linear or anything like that; I just don't want it to be super mazy or have it be a major aspect of the gameplay that you get lost all the time and have no idea what to do. I don't mind if there's exploration either; it's not knowing where to go or what to do to progress the game or do anything that I wouldn't be able to enjoy. But something like having bonus stuff that's easy to miss and requires you to explore to find it is ok. Just wanted to be a bit more clear on what exactly I'm trying to avoid.
I tried searching for more info on this and couldn't really get a clear answer on this, and got conflicting results on how hard it can be to know where to go. Would anyone be able to tell me the game involves frequently getting lost/not knowing where to go?

Opinion I think we need more interactions with Gourdan
Perhaps it would be wise to add an additional way to receive reward from him. In a regular playthrough, this doesn’t make much sense, but in the randomizer it’s already significant — for example, in my NG+3 run, he stored a weapon upgrade, and the Oozing organ became available only after repairing the fifth generator (instead of the skull from the guild).

What method could I suggest? I think I’m not the only one who wanted to try bringing a tomato piglet, which are in a higher room and clearly produce “bile”.

Also, here’s another little idea: what do you think a portal disk tastes like? 🤔

Minaposting Game theory : the true story of this game is that Lionel is a whiny ex lol (Spoilers)
You see the big twist is that Lionel was the true vilain all along, but he can also be seen to be somewhat suspicious even before it, and he's stated to have been close to Mina, the first thing we learn about Tenebrous is that Mina built the generators ten years ago then left for unkown reasons as it's never expanded as far as I know. Lionel seem to always talk like he's trying to bring back the time they use to spent together, and in the game's climax he isn't hesitant at all to put her in danger or throw her out his window (then lie she was the one shattering it btw), not only that but he also put god damn mouse traps in his house and what are either pitcures of her or replica heads like hunt trophies. It was premedited and I believe that's because they used to be more than just close friends, either they tried long distance relationship which failed or they separated and only see each other has coworkers, but what really ticked off Lionel was that Thorne was also looking into 'the big M', which is why once you restore all Spark towers and the two shake hands, Lionel still tosses him into the generator. the entire adventure was made to be Mina's humiliation ritual so she could be judged at his dinner party where litterally every little thing you can do can be considered a crime, and he somehow knows about all those actions, but if you somehow have no sins agaisnt Tenebrous he decides that you can still join him, and in the secret ending he's shown very close to Mina, because one of his main character trait is that he's delusional and still think she'd gonna be with him after what he's done to 'Lil T', so Mina likely still gets screwed over in the blameless ending. Furgus is also on the conspiracy as he seems to be jealous of Mina and decides that if he kills her he'd get recognition and probably something more intimate from the baron, as him and Lionel probably set up their meeting at Bone Beach too to test Mina's morals, I am eager to see how this will be developped in the potential sequels.

Question Astral Orrery help
(Edit: resolved, tysm I was being stupid lol)
No spoilers please (if possible)
This is my first play through and I can’t lie I’ve gotten quite stuck, i don’t want to just look up what to do as I’ve had a lot of fun figuring it out myself, but I could really use a nudge in the right direction
I’ve completed every generator except Astral Orrery so far, and the game keeps hinting at going inside mirrors to get there.
I’ve seen the person going inside the mirrors all over the place throughout the game but nothing I try seems to let me go through the mirrors.
Am I just missing something? Am I not supposed to do this right now? I’m really not sure and could use a hint
