Hi! I have a few questions about comment visibility on Reddit.

1. I found a list of subreddits recommended for new accounts, including r/mildlyinteresting, r/MadeMeSmile, and r/todayilearned. However, my comments seem to get filtered in some of these subreddits without any notification. When I checked the threads in incognito mode, my comments weren't visible, even though my account wasn't banned. Do these subreddits have filters that automatically remove comments from newer accounts?

2. In other subreddits, my comments are visible but collapsed by default, and users have to click the + icon next to my username to expand them. What causes this? Is it related to low karma, account age, or something else?

3. What factors affect CQS, and what are some legitimate ways to improve it?

We all know sometimes things get heated in comments, some people can be obsessive. Most of the time you can just move on or block a user and everything is fine. I imagine Reddit gets bombarded with complaints that have no merit.
I’m sure moderators get harassed.

How does Reddit assess the merit of a complaint? What safety procedures are in place when a user starts receiving harassing messages/threats or a user begins exhibiting stalking behaviours, other than blocking and notifying local police? Where can I learn more about Reddit’s safety procedures ?

Hi, I usually use Reddit for advice/help on certain stuff, but don't really post. This is the first time I want to be more involved in Reddit communities. So, that being said, just like other social platforms, what are some hidden tips or r.u.l.e.s I should know to safely navigate Reddit? Mostly because of its reputation on other platforms, I'm kind of nervous about doing something I will regret. Thanks. 😊

I always used social media, but thought reddit could be one to post something sometime, but im uncertain of how much people can know about you and what are the uses people tends to practice with it

I made a reddit account because there was something I wanted to post... I have learned that's not the name of the game! My post was removed by. reddit's filters and now I am gradually building my karma until I'm in decent standing.

My question is - Can I just repost my original post once I get there or will somehow the post itself be filtered since it did once? I am going to keep building either way but don't really want to get filtered out again so I'd rather know in advance and rework it!

I deleted my previous accounts because I couldn’t post or comment in them for some reason . It kept showing me post insights are not available . So deleted it and makde a new account and checking if the problem still persists

I like baking cookies and random food stuff but most groups feel super quiet or just pictures. Is there a way to find smaller, active places where people actually chat?

Downloaded Reddit specifically to get advice from a specific community, but they keep removing my posts (karma is below 10🥲).

I’m posting on other subreddits, but karma doesn’t seem to be updating. Does it take some time to reflect upvotes on the account dashboard?

How is this different or similar to other platforms, also why am i unable to post on some subreddits and after posting a red bin appears sometimes? Thanks for helping in advance.

I like hiking and photography but all I see are the huge busy pages when I search. Is there a trick to finding smaller, active communities for stuff like that?

How much karma is needed to post in most subreddits? When it says you need more, is there a way to tell how much you need?
