Over the past two weeks, as CRDL kept sliding, I’ve lost the fun of checking my account balance every day.

Instead, I keep asking myself: Why the hell didn’t I sell at $2.20 and buy back now that the stock has lost almost half its value?

The funny thing is, the underlying story hasn’t changed all that much. It’s mostly the timeline that has shifted, with the milestones we were looking forward to pushed back by a few months.

When you’re full of hope, a few extra months don’t seem like a big deal. But once that expectation gets pushed back, patience starts to wear thin. And once investors lose patience, winning them back is a lot harder than you’d think.

Now the stock has even fallen below my $1.27 cost basis. Wouldn’t surprise me if it drops below $1 over the next couple of weeks.

But selling now feels a bit late, doesn’t it?

Oh well. The fish took the bait, but somehow got away with it. All I can do now is put another piece of bait on the hook and wait for the next bite.
