Feeling grateful

Feeling grateful today for the blessings I have, the love I received, the peace in my heart, and the beautiful things life continues to bring my way. Sometimes, the simplest things are the biggest reasons to be thankful.

I’m starting to appreciate the small wins

I used to think progress had to be something big. Lately, I’ve realized that even small things count.

Taking care of myself, getting something done that I kept putting off, or simply having a good day after a rough one.

Nothing dramatic, but somehow those little wins feel really good. ❤️

if it's sunny ☀️ enjoy the ancient light hitting your skin and be grateful for having the opportunity of touching something so ancient and beautiful 🩵

if it's rainy 🌧️ enjoy the cozy vibes of hearing the relaxing pitter patter of the rain on the roof and the coziness of staying inside and cozy and all(lots of cozy vibes) ✨

look at how beautiful your hands are 🤲🏼, your legs, your shoulders. LOOK AT YOU!!! 😍😍😍 YOU ARE A BIOLOGICAL MIRACLE!!!

next time you go drink water, do me a favour and drink 2 glasses and a half! just one time for me! 👉🏼👈🏼✨

you are beautiful, you are strong, you deserve happiness, you deserve success, you deserve love 💕 we are all humans, wonderful machines, and if we spread the energy between eachother we are capable of being extremely happy all together and do incredible things 🩵

A bad day doesn't mean you have a bad life. A slow season doesn't mean you're falling behind. Give yourself time to learn, grow, and become the person you want to be. ✨

Keep going, one day at a time.

What small thing made you smile today?

Mine was a guy at the coffee shop who gave me a free pastry because they’d made one too many and he said “someone should enjoy it.” Nothing big, but it improved my whole morning.

I’ve been trying to notice little good moments more lately, because I realized I usually only remember the stressful ones. Curious what yours were today, or this week!

Upside to feeling insecure and devastated

Help me find the upside to this.

My husband and I went to ikea and unfortunately there was a perfect bodied woman there wearing bright neon pink to grab attention to herself. Everyone saw her.

I was feeling extremely insecure about this. Days later I talked to husband about it and saying how devestated I was. he said “yeah you nearly broke in half and gave up on life” in a casual non chalant uncaring way.

I feel betrayed and full of hatred

I’ve been in a bit of a funk lately, so I decided to lean into some simple childhood joys to help reset. It actually worked.

Lately, things have felt a bit heavy, and I realized I was missing that pure, simple kind of happiness we had so easily as kids. So over the last week or two, I decided to deliberately do a few goofy, nostalgic things just to get out of my own head.

I bought some bubble wrap and popped every single sheet, put Elmer’s glue on my hand just to let it dry and peel it off like skin, and even bought a cheap bottle of bubbles to blow outside in the yard.

Honestly? It sounds silly, but it completely worked. For those few minutes, all my stress just vanished, and I was just... present.

It made me wonder: what are some other simple childhood activities that still bring instant joy or help reset your mood as an adult?

Choose to get excited again about that which used to excite you.

We’ve all been there at one point in our lives- excited to get a new phone, a new to us car, an appliance, a book, go on a trip, etc. But as time moves on, the novelty of that item or experience wears off. Try to re-locate those things that you were once excited about and remember why. Intentionally choose to feel gratitude that it worked out and you got it. Remember how happy you were and try to feel it again. The thing that once brought you joy is still there. Regularly take inventory of those things in your life. Re-kindle the positivity.

You can just turn off your phone

Please let this be your reminder a lot of the mean spirited things you see are actually bots who are just reacting to key words with something that will most likely get a reaction.

There’s been times where I just deleted certain apps for a while when they were bumming me out. And I’ve found it brings me a lot of peace. People tend to forget the “doom” part of doomscrolling. Your algorithm is trying to make you believe that the world is a lot worse than it actually is. You can always just do something else that brings you joy for as long as you need :) also, cell phone addiction is the easiest one to break. Your brain adapts to it the fastest out of quitting any other addiction

Good news!

Japanese scientists have created a plant based plastic that fully dissolves in salt water without leaving behind harmful micro plastics. Good climate change is always happening, your social media algorithms just never shows you that.
