And we'll tell you to save your breath, act like a good one, and stop wasting everyone's time. If you aren't one of those men, you would see that that urgency to stop an issue of this scale is more important than you denying responsibility. Like, hundreds of thousands of women are raped and assaulted annually, and you're more worried about you.
No one is saying "all men." Women are like "hey men are assaulting us way too much" and then some jabronies are like "not all men!"
That's not the point. The point is that it's far too many men. And raising awareness of that WILL help men do it less if they are aware of their actions, aware of the consequences, and if men give men social consequences for doing it.
Okay, if someone goes and provides you an album of thousands of women actually saying "all men" would you believe it them or are you gonna look for another lie to downplay the issue?
If a study is provided for you, are you going to discredit that? Y'all really don't like the idea that an awful lot of women are using this shit as an excuse to be hateful, it really bothers you that that's what's going on.
I don't mean to be "that guy", but many, many, many comments and posts on this website in fact are saying "all men", and the post we're all commenting on literally says it in image two. đ¤ˇ
No it literally doesn't. It says "stop saying not all men." And I'm explaining why to stop saying it. It's a pointless defensive reaction that is hindering the discussion of the problem itself.Â
Yeah, they are. They have the whole phrase "it's all men until no men" and also "not all men, but always a man" when someone calls the former out. That's saying it's all men. Why would I support people who automatically lump me in with rapists when I have never, and will never rape someone. Especially as someone who was raped by a woman. The response to "not all men" is often "not all men but always a man." Where does that leave me? She wasn't a man. She took advantage of me while I was drunk and very emotionally vulnerable.
You're mad about these slogans being used by a select group that are lumping you into a group based on your sex and then you're turning around and doing the same thing.Â
Because a small group of people are using a slogan (I have not seen them being used but I will believe you), you're withdrawing your support from the greater group of women who are just trying to curb the overwhelming number of sexual assaults committed by men.Â
I am not saying that it doesn't happen to men. My husband was stalked and assaulted also. All sexual assaults are important and should be stopped. And it definitely means something culturally that the vast majority of them are committed by menÂ
No not really. I go onto the internet to argue about the what's true or not. If you want to have a grown up discussion about how to reduce crime, you guys aren't doing it right. Step one create a slogan that doesn't piss off potential allies. Ope, seems you failed there

I will keep saying not all men because, guess what, I haven't done anything of the sort and don't know anyone who has.
