Ah, my sweet sweet amazing, spectacular, fantastic, memorable, beautiful, selfless, righteous, loving, compassionate, and wonderful young master.
Where do I even begin? Every day that I wake up in the morning, I think about you. Every time I eat, I wonder how much better it would’ve been if you were here. If it was possible, I would count to infinity until my words reach your soul.
Ever since the incident, I always thought how much better things would have been if I had helped you. I imagined you as this unstoppable force of hunger that doesn’t require the help of a merely cultist like myself.
Even if I ended up dying serving you, it would be better than walking directionless without you.
You can eat people’s names and memories but that never bothered me. In fact, If it weren’t for you, I would be just a forgettable crop in the field.
What I’m saying is that I’m grateful for everything you’ve done for me even if it was completely unintentional you changed my life.
So please, let me hold onto your wither soul just for this one night.

That might seem obvious, but he definitively gets overshadowed by Lye. Like I guess he's still alive but going through arc 3 through 6 one of these clearly got a better deal, especially with easy to compare stuff like their dynamic with their respective "ultimate food".

His personality and energy are unmatched. Nobody else has this much ‘fuck it we ball’ energy.
His philosophy of loving everything and therefore wanting to eat everything is so interesting.

Roy is cool but kind of an anime bum ngl
Shows up in priestella, scares the daylights out of Otto and the white fang who save Otto
He eats Julius’ brother Joshua (unless Tappei retconned that cause Otsuka fucked the illust)
He fought Julius on the roof of the meteor building then flees?
Fights Julius and Ricardo at the bastion, aura farming on Julius’ attacks and eating his name. Chops Ricardo’s arm off
And then come next season all he does is eat Reid Astrea. His only feat. At least he looked really cool all sealed up

The character interactions between the two gluttony brothers, Roy and Lye, and the rest of the cast are always very annoying and tedious. They just ramble the same few sentences and don't shut up. The other archbishops also ramble a lot, but they actually feel like they would say different stuff or respond differently depending on who they're talking too.
The gluttony siblings are honestly just versatile plot devices, which is why they have so much screen time even though they lack any charisma or interesting behavior. Rui is a bit more interesting but they cut her chapter from the anime which makes her look like the rest of the siblings.
Anyway I don't have any specific thoughts toward Roy since I view him and Lye as the same thing.
