Scaramucci no longer holds the record for shortest service to the trump whitehouse....11 days has been broken and Zacharia now owns it at 5 days. And only one 14 minute press briefing did her in. It was a unblievable thing to watch too. She was so far out of her element, even reading the side notes telling her how to say the next statement with "enegry and excitement". Freakin' unreal and entertaining. Makes me miss Sean Spicer.
I was listening to the Mooch on a podcast recently and he seemed genuinely upset by the idea that his record might get broken and we'd lose that unit of measure.
The Zacharia (Za) — 5 days
Named after Katie Zacharia, representing the political equivalent of a blink-and-you'll-miss-it appointment. Barely enough time to find the office, let alone unpack.
The Scaramucci (Sc) — 10 days
Named after Anthony Scaramucci's legendary tenure as White House Communications Director in 2017. The original gold standard of spectacularly short-lived political careers.
The Flynn (Fl) — 24 days
Named after Michael Flynn, Trump's first National Security Adviser, who resigned after just 24 days in 2017. A relative marathon in the world of Trump administration job security.
To put that into perspective, surviving a full Flynn means you've outlasted nearly five Zacharias. At that point, you're practically eligible for a long-service award.
