Neuroscience Is it true people with intellectual disabilities are at a higher risk for dementia?
On Therapedia it said that. I wanted to know more as to why. This can also count as Cognitive psyc

I recently had a conversation with an acquaintance of mine, and he mentioned that there may be a correlation between aging and a perceived reduction in psychotic symptoms of schizoaffective disorder. Try as I might to scour the web, I have been unable to find a reputable source that really elaborated on the topic. The most I could find was a study conducted that revealed a significant symptomatic remission rate of psychotic symptoms in a 5-year follow up. It did not really explain the cause. If anyone knows please inform me, and if I am wrong or misinformed, please clear this up, it has been eating at my mind.

Had a thought the other day when listening to a couple different songs about accidentally seeing horrible videos in the early internet days. I also grew up in that age of the internet and saw stuff like beheading videos but I don't ever find myself that affected by it. I also have mild aphantasia and can only visualize things in vague, black and white, still images so I was wondering if those things are related. I can kind of picture the general framing of the videos I saw but definitely no detail and its not "burned in my mind" in any way. Anyone know of any studies related to this? Or anecdotal evidence. Thanks!
(If anyone is curious, the songs were I've Seen Footage by Death Grips and Infohazard by Ninajirachi.)
